Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I loved doing the charging station. It helped me feel better about myself.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The charging station, and the individual booklets for each student. They loved having their own private place to record their ideas, thinking and feelings.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? They've picked up some new vocab and tools that they will hopefully take with them as they go forward.

In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence I think it's given them permission to feel low at times, which is liberating beacuase that's just reall life - ups and downs. The best thing is the tools they will take with them to help boost their confidence.

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them "I can let the teacher know when I'm not feeling very good and she talks to me about it. " "The cards are really fun and really interesting and it's good to talk about that stuff because sometimes people need to think about how they make you feel."

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? I love the using the tokens in the morning so the students can let me know how they are feeling. It gave me a chance to work through some things before school started so they didn't hamper the learning quite so much as they would have.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Using the boost and shrink cards daily means the students have all had lots of opportunity to disucss and think about their feelings and their attitudes to others. Hopefully this will stay with them and they can build on it in future.

In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence I think the tokens gave them a chance to be confident enough to talk to me about issues they wouldn't have talked about before. And this helped them understand that it is good to open up about problems =.

“This kit was so timely for my class. There were starting to be quite a few little conflicts popping up and this kit put the students back on track .They became more self aware of their behaviour and the behaviour of others. It gave them some common language to talk about how they were feeling and what the could do about it.”

Another child is now able to look at themself in a more positive light and understand that they are better than they thought they were.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The rec sheets where students felt safe enough to share their ideas on their own wellbeing.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? The idea that we are all on a continuum and we can feel different every day and that there are times when we are in a position to help others too.

In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence They feel safe to share their ideas and are not embarrassed as to where they are at. It is mana enhancing.

What impact has this kit had on your classroom community? Even the staff have used this. The staff coming through the Learning Centre all tried it and loved it. A couple have checked in more than once.

“We have been using this kit in our Learning Centre where students are often here to take some time out due to anxiety. They have found using the kit really helpful. They especially like the idea they can help others when they are feeling good. We have used the red response sheets to reply to each student who has filled one out. They get a handmade small box with some helpful hints or suggestions about the things they are concerned about along with some sweets a positive affirmation fridge magnet and an invitation to have a chat with a trusted staff member. This has enabled the students to feel they have a voice and that we care about them.”
