“I have used this school kit with my pastoral class for the past term and would now consider it an essential part of our day. Students are eager to come and add their token to the ballot box. We even have senior students who have their own tokens and pop in to my class to check in. Students like using the red check lists to share what is troubling them and we have been able to identify big issues this way, that have been addressed immediately. So so grateful for this school kit!!”

“Dear School Kit and Dove, Thank you so much for this kit. It has provided a boost to the children who are feeling good or great on a daily basis but the real value for us has been for those students who are having a tough day. The kit has enabled them to feel safe in sharing their feelings and helped me as a teacher to reach out to the children and provide support. As part of our overall wellbeing there are many suggestions for the children on ways to boost their self esteem. The short videos are also very powerful in the positive messages they carry. Thanks so much for this kit, it supports me in my teaching and supports my kids in their learning.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them - My favourite part was learning about my name and how this made me unique. - I liked reading the letter from my parents as I don't normally receive a letter.
Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The charging station as this became a class routine and linked directly in to our zones of regulation learning.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? The ability to be able to share their problems with others and gave them a good range of ideas on when they just aren't feeling bad but what to do when you're feeling great as well by paying it forward. This was nice which is sometimes overlooked.
In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence It helps the ākonga recognise that feeling all these emotions is natural and everyone is in the same boat so they don't feel worried/embarrassed about anything!
