We had a really good time creating our individual foosd maops of our local area! We learnt heaps about the pickling prcess and the ablity to extenbd the shelf life of foods. There were many who had never had picked foods or even knew how the process works. We now have fans of picklin in nthe classroom! I would recommend to all to show off some what my student referred to "The Old Ways" of storing foods and creating new flavopurs qwith things they never would have picked up otherwise!
