What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? We thought we would look at the electricity equipment we have at school and explore that but we never got around to it unfortunately.
What opportunities arose for cross curricular learning while teaching this kit? We went to the library and searched for books on electricity. The Question Dice were cool and we used them in our 'normal' reading as well. We found School Journals about electricity and completed mini projects. In maths, we talked about sizes of voltage which led us into more learning ab out place value.

“Of course, the Popcorn activity was a hit...not just to talk about energy transformation - but to eat it :) The students really enjoyed making the Electric Playdough as well. The question cards got them thinking about heaps of things. We had some very creative ideas come through!”

The different tasks and experiments helped the students to see, firsthand, how energy is transformed. This was very helpful especially to my more visual students who learn through hands-on activities.
