“This resource was so helpful alongside my unit. The class really enjoyed having hands-on objects to observe as an intro to our unit. The images were a really fun activity we used as a class. The photo activity was great and we used these to then create a pepeha of our local areas using photos the students went out and took themselves.”

How has this kit impacted your confidence in delivering the new Aotearoa NZ's histories curriculum content? It's given a range of lens for our tamariki to explore - a great "starting" point for their individual inquiries.

How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? It is very fitting as our Kahui Ako are now pursuing a bus tour, using similar approach, of our community environment/place.
