I feel that the huge amount of different stories and activities being set for me makes me feel much more relaxed about getting the planning done and so I can just focus on teaching and guiding my tamariki through the work.
How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model?
I don't feel that it has done this for me in particular but we have just had PD on local curriculum with iwi involvement. I suppose this will encourage me to delve into local history in more depth.

It made me feel more at ease that the information I was providing my students with was coming from a well researched source. I wouldn't feel comfortable giving the resource if it was purely one sided information.
