Ordered this kit along with 'Part of Something Bigger' which was 'bigger' and better than I expected so did not use the 'Dear 13 Year Old Me' kit until last term. This kit was also a great kit. so important that students have some idea of all these concepts before they need them.

It was quite challenging to complete the program effectively with the Year 9 math class due to time constraints. I needed to prepare them for the upcoming school tests for their reports, which left me with insufficient time to cover the material thoroughly.

The more intellectual did also found the report difficult. Might be better for year 11 student's and have a simplified version for year 10's?

I was teaching year 10's and the class is called Financial Capability. It was too much to provide each group with a different character. Since I had never tried this before, it would have been a lot simplier if I just gave every group the same synario. The Calculations that were provided in the example didn't help the student's. They were not able to complete these tasks on their own. More scaffolding for each and every tool was necessary. Since these students were year 10, some of these tasks needed to be simplified.
