“Story Vets Kit ticked all the boxes especially as we were researching Careers so it was perfectly timed. The students were right into this kit primarily as a career path and also because animals and their welfare are to the fore in the area in which we live.”

What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit? I've only heard from one parent but she was singing our praises about how amazing it was and how much her daughter was loving it. The kids were super engaged and wanted to do this instead of other work.
“Story vets was an amazing hands-on resource for students to use. The students absolutely loved being vets themselves and rewriting fairytales. Such a cool interactive few sessions, will definitely be keen to do this one again!”

How did this resource help students understand process of elimination using data analysis? This resource helped students understand the process of elimination through data analysis. However, as our students were younger (Year 3/4), they needed additional scaffolding to work through the material effectively.

What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit? We are a farming community, so the feedback from parents has been positive. Students have also been able to draw on their prior knowledge, which has enhanced their learning experience with this kit.
“This was one of the best boxes I have done. The students were very excited and engaged with it. They especially loved the vet clinic we set up in the small room between the two classrooms. We also had a parent, who is a veterinarian, speak to our classes. While there is a lot of information that can be quite confusing, another teacher has created some brilliant slides that help clarify everything. These slides are shared in the School Kit Chat.”
