What feedback have you received from students or parents about the learning in this kit? They loved the posts we shared on Hero and the conversations they had around the dinner table!

“Right from the get go our class was buzzing with excitement and curiosity. The students walked into the classroom to find our provocation station and it was a hit! There were many questions and ohhhs and ahhhs as they puzzled over the items trying to build connections. The glasses were a hit and so were the x-rays! Lots of students had not heard the story Henny Penny so we were able to link this beautifully with our narrative writing. We had lots of giggles when we talked about worming and making the link between animals and humans. A lot of us exclaimed they had no pulse which then lead to the interesting conversations. We saved our school kit for after camp and it was something that excited and engaged our students.”

“A great kit full of well designed resources. Someone has put a lot of time and thought into designing this kit. Amazing graphics, great hands on equipment and all kits like to pretend to be a vet! Great critical thinking. We used this as an end of term activity, and even with tired kids they were engaged.”

“What a neat kit. The kids loved being able to experience part of what it would like being a vet. The unplugged coding to start wasn’t a hit, but the hands on case files, standardised tests and calculating TPR were great. Lots of critical thinking, collaboration, talk moves and justification.”
