What made you decide to undertake a tax based programme and specifically the Part of something bigger kit for your students? I was already teaching tax. This resource added to my resources.
If you were to re use this resource in the future, how would you see yourself doing this? (Eg, as a full unit, separately in other units of work, integrating into cross curricular lesson plans) As part of a unit combined with my existing resources from other sources.

“The kit was amazing - the students loved filling in the payslip and creating a character. The clips etc were good for the kids to watch. The part that became difficult and this may be because we are heading towards the end of the term, was that when it came to building their own tax spend as a staff, the students found it hard to connect their 'character' to reality. I could see this coming so adapted the lesson half way through to give a better understanding of the reality of the tax system.”

What made you decide to undertake a tax based programme and specifically the Part of something bigger kit for your students? I like the look of the kit and financial literacy is a key area in the Social Sciences.
If you were to re use this resource in the future, how would you see yourself doing this? (Eg, as a full unit, separately in other units of work, integrating into cross curricular lesson plans) I would have to look at the resources carefully again and try to match them to a learning outcome. I would also have to a lot of pre-teaching before I could use the resources.
