What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? As we haven't had a chance to test the kit yet we haven't been able to use the data we will gather for cross-curricular learning in the areas of Maths and Scienc ebut to date we have use the kit as a base for research and writing.

“Water testing kit We used this kit later in the year as part of our measurement maths unit. My students I found enjoyed the hands-on application of the learning we had done in the class. I liked that the kit had step by step instructions and had everything in it that we needed. Understanding of the Significance of Water in Te Ao Māori: We discussed in our class that water is important to all, and in Te Ao Māori we are guardians, water is not ours to own and we should treat it as we are borrowing it. Cross-Curricular Learning Lots of measurement based maths Reading Writing Science Health Future Learning Opportunities Creating a guardian of the stream programme with our council is a possibility. Getting the students to understand what needs to be done for this to happen.”
