We can use the resource to look at other waterways in our area and compare our findings.
We have also invited NIWA to come and talk to our students about the importance of looking after our waterways and the health of waterways in the Waikato.

Students developed an understanding that water is connected to all things living. We didn't find many fauna in the stream and students decided that this was linked to the poor quality of the stream.
