What influence has this kit had in promoting the longevity of water saving habits and what other water related topics did your students come up with? It made them stop and consider just how much water they are unknowingly wasting throughout the day. They had to become purposefully conscious of the amount they were using and it encouraged them to think of what they could do differently to be better.

They found using the small hourglass timers fascinating so any activity with that seemed to get more attention. The stamping was like a small little reward for students.
How have your students' perceptions of water conservation changed since using the resource and did it foster a sense of responsibility and awareness in your classroom? They have realised how easy it is to do simple tasks to help conserve water. For some it fostered a sense of responsibility.

I found the kit to be quite useful though at times it was hard to track the students progress and see if they were genuinely doing it or just marking it off themselves. It did encourage them to think more deeply about their water usage. Some struggled to keep up the consistency.

The kit was engaging to students, it allowed for discussion about how we use water, how we waste water and what we can do to save water.

It was a great resource that had huge engagment from all the students. They espeicallly liked earning stickers and being able to link the learning to their ownb lives and usage at home.

What influence has this kit had in promoting the longevity of water saving habits and what other water related topics did your students come up with? It still comes up in discussion and if we are going to "do it again". We have discussed how habits are a new routine!

My class really enjoyed the Water Savers Kit and how they could apply their learning at home. It created great discussion about water usage habits both at school and at home.
