What was the impact of the daily stamping practice in your classroom and which water benchmark did your students find most fascinating? The daily stamping was a great visual of the impact the students were making. The most fascinating would have been the amount of water used for a shower and toilet.
How have your students' perceptions of water conservation changed since using the resource and did it foster a sense of responsibility and awareness in your classroom? It certainly changed perceptions and made my students more responsible and aware of water uses. They were already quite aware but thought since we had a lake on our doorstep that water was readily and easily available.

My ciass really enjoyed the water saving activities. We were doing a study on water tor Life so we had covered a range of topics about water and this kit was great for teaching how to save water. I had the question 'why do we need to save water when we live near a lake?' They assumed the water just came from the lake and it was an endless supply. The students who participated with Home Learning really enjoyed the stamping and managing their own stamping. The enjoyed seeing how they contributed, how much water they saved and thought about what could have been achieved if the whole class had participated They also enjoyed learning about 'hidden water!

My students loved the water savers challenge after learning about the water cycle for our topic learning. They enjoyed being able to take the badges, trackers, and mirror stickers to remind them to save water at home. Stamping the chart gave good reminders & visuals to their progress for saving water. We were able to easily link the challenge to deeper learning about the importance of water and different ways we can look after it in the world around us.

This was an awesome kit that was really engaging for the students and it was easy to follow. As a teacher, I learnt a lot about the ways that water is used in the production of objects that you don't see water in. The children really enjoyed the little take home items and were excited every day to come in and share the ways they have saved water and to do their stamps

Students loved engaging daily with the water saving tasks. It reinforces cooperation, responsibility and cohesive action. Some of the tasks were easy for students to understand because of the prior knowledge they brought to the learning. It encouraged discussions and an awareness of how we can be active citizens for good.
