It’s really hard to use. Really thinking the consistency would be much easier to apply. Haven’t used but Love Love the shampoo.

Hi Deanne, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with our Prebiotic Pet Balm. We strongly recommend applying pressure with your thumb to the center of the balm to break the surface. This makes the application process a lot easier. Thank you, Jeremiah

Living in California, my dogs are out in hot weather quite a bit. This helps to heal up those dry paw pads before they begin to crack. Works wondefully.

Hi Lavern, I'm sorry that you're having trouble with the consistency. We recommend first breaking the surface with the back of a metal spoon. To help with the application process, warm the container to soften the balm. You can do this by letting the container sit outside in the sun for a few minutes or near a heater. You can also remove the desired amount with a warm spoon before rubbing the balm really well between your fingers. I hope this helps! Thank you, Susie

Wish it was a little less “solid”. I tried to loosen it enough to use on my dogs paws. I got nothing from the tin. Didn’t make any sense to me.

I only got to use it a few times because my pup is shy about his feet. The palm is a little hard to use because its so hard. I do notice the difference it makes on my dogs skin though, hes an active boy so his feet are always super rough. Hopefully i can continue to use it and see the full potential.

Hi Nikki, I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the balm. I'd love to help! Here are some recommendations: We recommend first breaking the surface with the back of a metal spoon. To help with the application process, warm the container to soften the balm. Or warm the balm really well between your fingers. If you find that the balm is too “goopy” then we recommend applying a smaller amount at a time. Let us know how it goes. Susie

The balm is so solid that you have to scrape it out with your fingernail and then soften it with your fingers.

Hi Keryn, We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the Prebiotic Pet Balm! The consistency is hard upon arrival to prevent it from melting during transit. We recommend first breaking the surface with the back of a metal spoon. To help with the application process, warm the container to soften the balm. Or warm the balm really well between your fingers. If you find that the balm is too “goopy” then we recommend applying a smaller amount at a time. Thank you, Susie
