“The direct spray option makes it take a very long time to spray furniture, home and carpet and the dogs don't like it. The nozzle came apart from bottle too. I wish it was able to mist”
“I purchased this product today July 16 2024 at my local Petco.
Problem is the pump does not work at all. Also the top keeps popping off of the bottle.
I had to put the product into another sprayer after these issues.
My hands smell nice because that is where the product went after the top issue.
I don't know if it works yet, but for now one star is the lowest rating I can give.”

“I saw that others have complained about the harsh stream of product coming out instead of a mist option, but the spray nozzle itself came completely off - casusing about 1/4 of the product to spill all over a rug. Such a waste of product, but at least the room smells like Christmas‚Ķ could be worse I guess.
I love SH products so I‚Äôm hoping this naturally potent formula does the trick. I spotted one live flea on my dog and a bit of ‚Äúflea dirt‚Äù so I‚Äôm hoping this stuff kills any larvae or remaining fleas I didn‚Äôt get. Fingers crossed!”

This is to provide a more direct and concentrated application and reach difficult areas throughout the home. During the pandemic, there were some manufacturing difficulties with the trigger components. “I got this because my dogs flea meds were just not keeping it up. It does do its job, but the only major downfall is the spray nozzle part. The actual spray is way too harsh and my dog was terrified. It says there‚Äôs a mist setting but it‚Äôs the same exact spray as the other setting. The actual nozzle likes to come off sometimes.
So what I have found works is putting the product on my hands and rubbing it through his fur. He doesn‚Äôt love me doing this but it doesn‚Äôt feel like he‚Äôs being shot with a water gun and I don‚Äôt have to try to mess with the nozzle other than spraying it into my hands. I also just find it easier to get really in his fur. Overall, love it and it does work so I‚Äôll keep repurchasing likely.”

We apologize for the confusion, we were working through component shortage issues during the pandemic and so you may see a mist option. Customers have also found it helpful when applying to areas/surfaces such as bedding and carpet or your dog, is to spray a generous amount into a towel or cloth to saturate completely and then spread throughout the area of the surface you would like treated. “We have a Catahoula who is prone to seizures making it difficult to find products that protect our pup against fleas and ticks. Our pup isn't the biggest fan of the strong peppermint scent though it does the trick! It's killed fleas and ticks on contact and helps repel mosquitoes. Wish the spray stream on the bottle was wider to help with even coating of the fur and skin, it's my only complaint over the last couple years I've used it.”

Thank you for the feedback! Please be aware that we don't recommend using our Flea + Tick products topically on cats since they are very sensitive to essential oils, especially peppermint. If using throughout the home, it's best to remove your cats from the area first. Then allow the treated area to dry completely before reintroducing your cats back. We welcome you to review the ingredient list with your veterinarian as well.
