I'm happy to hear that you're loving our Flea + Tick Dog & Home Spray! Due to the essential oils, we do not recommend applying this product topically on cats. If applying throughout the home, it's best to remove your cat from the area before application. After application, allow the product to dry before bringing your cat back to the area. “I've used this spray for years and I'm not very happy there isn't a small spray bottle anymore. The must action was perfect, now I'm reading you only have this new option that apparently shoots a stream. Thus is NOT effective 8n an all over coat spray. Do you not have the other one at all anymore?? I guess I'll have to find sometjing else üòûso tired of companies changing things unnecessarily!”

We launched our Flea + Tick line in the Summer of 2021 and have not modified the design or formula since its launch. Our goal was to design a flea and tick product that allows customers to easily apply to problem areas such as crevices throughout the home that are more difficult to reach. Our other products with a trigger do still have both a stream and mist option. We greatly appreciate your feedback and we'll take this into consideration.

“I bought this yesterday at my local pet store. It was highly recommended by the staff, and I was looking forward to giving it a try. The spray option on the trigger does not work. I can only get a stream of the product. The directions say to spray the dog's entire body, but neither one of my dogs like the direct spray. I ended up having to spray my hand, then rub it on their coat. This is not what I was expecting. I will continue to use it to see if it repels fleas, but unless the sprayer is fixed I probably won't repurchase. It smells good!”

“I have been using Skout's Honor for the past 2 years and love their probiotic shampoo so much that I do not use anything else, and have recommended to several people in the past. So when I wanted a flea prevention that is safe to pets and chemical free, I immediately thought of Skout's Honor. Although I do use other forms of protection for my two medium sized girls for fleas and ticks, I wanted to incorporate the flea and tick line as a double protection. I am very pleased with the scent. I am used to only using natural products on the girls, and this scent is very "minty with a hint of woody in it" that is just wonderful. The sprayer on the bottle is my issue. The sprayer setting sends out a single string of product, which not only wastes alot of product, it obviously, doesn't cover a large area, and thus, alot of product is wasted. I wasted 1/4 of the bottle on the first time trying to use it on my girls. I did about 4 sprays per dog, and it turned out to be a mess. As I "sprayed" a single line of product, it would roll down the coat quickly, so I had to rub it into their coat, leaving me with a hand full of wet fur, AND a very wet dog too. It felt more like giving them a bath.
I hope there is a solution to my issue because I really liked the product, but I cannot afford to be wasting as much as I did on a single use. I tried different sprayers that I had on hand, and none of them work with the product as a spray, every single one sent out a single line shoot of product. Could it be that the product is too thick to "spray"? I don't know, I hope someone sheds some light to this, and perhaps I get a replacement. NOTE: I DID SHAKE THE BOTTLE THOROUGHLY before using.”

“I was very excited to get this product and start using it on my two medium sized dogs. As soon as I tried to use it, the spray mist wouldn't work, instead the product shoots out like a strong single line spray, NO MIST whatsoever, at first i thought it was the spray it self that was faulty, so I tried using multiple different sprayers that I had available that work just fine, and no matter which one I use, the product always comes out shooting a single line strong spray, NOT MIST. This made me waste 1/4 of the product on my girls the first time of use, and as I sprayed them, the product would just run down their furr, so I had to spray, massage, spray, massage, and it was a mess, with all the wet fur on my hands, and the girls were rather wet, this was only with 4 sprays per dog. It felt as if I was giving them a bath more than just a spray treatment. I contacted the company and I am still waiting on a reply. Although the product smells wonderful, I cannot use it for the intent needed. Too much product gets wasted because I think it's too thick to be used as a spray. NOTE: I DID SHAKE THE BOTTLE VERY WELL BEFORE USING.”
