“In October I ordered a pair of TropicFeel sneakers. According to you tracking system they were delivered on the 6th November. Unfortunately I still haven’t received anything at all. Please advise.”

“I bought two pairs of Geyser Great shoes last year. When I took them out this year for the approaching rainy and cooler season, I was surprised to find that the glue on the toe of both shoes had separated between the sole and the upper of the shoe. Last year this problem did not occur during use and the shoes were stored in completely ordinary conditions in a shoe cabinet. I contacted Tropicfeel support, but they sent me a canned response saying that the warranty does not cover "defects and damage due to normal wear and tear". The shoes in question have not been used for six months in total, having arrived after long delays last September, when I was on the very trip for which I originally ordered them. I started actually using them in November last year until February this year. Even if I'd worn these every single day during that period – which I didn't – the glue shouldn't let go after four months, a cheap pair of fast fashion shoes will last longer than that. But that's not what happened. When I put the shoes away this spring, there was nothing wrong with them, when I took them out a few days ago, that's when I noticed the problem. This is clearly not caused by wear and tear from use, but by a design flaw or the subpar quality of the glue used. I have bought a total of six pairs of shoes from Tropicfeel until now. I had a problem with my first pair of Canyon shoes, which also broke after less than a year and were also not replaced, but at the time I said okay, after all, they were my primary travel shoes, they were my faithful companion over several continents, I accept that they were subject to considerable wear and tear. But that is not the case this time at all, the Geyser in question was only used in a normal urban environment, not subjected to any extreme strain, and the defect occurred after or during 7 months of disuse. The manufacturing flaw is corroborated by several Trustpilot reviews reporting the same issue. In my opinion, Tropicfeel's response to such problems is unacceptable, particularly given the image it aims to convey. After a while, support did not reply to my e-mails at all, they did not send me the "Sheet of Claim" document referred to in the Terms of Service. I am incredibly disappointed with the whole process and attitude, I will most definitely not be buying from this company again and I strongly caution others against doing so as well.”

“These shoes are very waterproof and light. Unfortunately the right foot cuts in to a joint when I walk. There is a ridge inside the shoe. I can't wear them and the company is blocking my attempts to get a refund. The only thing wrong with the product is that I can't wear it, which is pretty fundamental.”

“Optisch sieht der Schuh wirklich gut aus. Auch als ich ihn anprobierte wirkte er funktionsfähig. Ich habe ihn extra für meine Weltreise bestellt. Beim ersten richtigen Tragen ist dann direkt die Lasche vorne am Schuh gerissen. Zurück schicken kam dann leider nicht mehr in frage. Wir haben bereits das zweite mal bestellt, da der Schuh beim ersten Mal schon defekt ankam. Da konnten wir ihn noch retournieren und dachten es sei ein Versehen. Schlechte Verarbeitung und absolut schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, würde ich nie wieder bestellen. Außerdem ist der Schuh sehr eng, was erst bei etwas längerem Tragen bemerkbar ist.”

“The heel counter is way to hard. This pushes to much on my achilles heel when walking. Some of your other shoes (dune) have soft heel counters, those feel much better”
