“This house was extremely dirty! Restroom didn’t work on our second night neither did the air conditioner. The restroom on the first floor have a bad smell! The overall quality of this home was very bad!! It was not worth the money! Very disappointed”

I'm so sorry to hear about the condition of my home when you arrived, Elsy. That's definitely not the standard of Château Soleil, and we'll have our team look at the air conditioner. And I've also ensured that my home will receive a thorough cleaning as well.

“We really liked the location/beach access, the number of towels, the number of access points to the balconies/view, and parking space. However, we noticed that the master shower leaked and a kitchen outlet did not work (which we reported and you responded to quickly). Also, over the days there, we noticed that the property seemed much more beaten up than I would've expected for such a new building - the walls were dirty, the couch was saggy, couch pillows had stains, the sliding shower doors for the bathroom off of the queen were very difficult to move and/or off the track, one of the toilets was not fully secured to the ground (tilted when you sat on it), the outdoor grill was tipped over when we arrived (which we put upright) and was covered in rust. I know it stated there were no kitchen essentials but we were shocked to find salt, pepper, and coffee filters weren't even on-site.”

“images provided on the website were rather misleading, fifth bedroom is actually a loft, hard spiral steps to get in, no private bathroom, Also house is much older and dated as the images portray. Balcony guardrails were dangerously loose, and broken, on two spots, a major safety hazard. Ice make not working properly, dishwasher door not locking at all(water all over the floor), very dated, extremely slow and somewhat dirty coffee maker, a number of lights not working, a few doors lock malfunctioning, living room sofa cushions with dirt spots all over, chipped stoneware, very old very used, and very dirty pots and pans, no trashcans in some of the bathrooms, overall a disappointing experience. I would respectfully request a partial reimbursement of the rental fee.”

“Excellent house and location for my family. We had a group of 10- 6 adults aging from 45-85 and 4 children ages 7-13. Everyone enjoyed stay. We stayed in late October and the weather cloudy but still very nice out. We brought our own towels and food. Pros: 1. Location to beach...few steps 2. Views of ocean from every window 3. Large open area for cooking, eating, tv/music, playing games, all in same room 4. There were some toys and floats left for children. There was also a kayak but we did not use (it was heavy) 5. Two coffee makers. There was a drip as well as a Keurig type coffee maker (this wasn't listed online). 6. wifi was great; multiple electronics were used 7. Very Clean 8. Beds very comfortable and showers great, especially Masters 9. If you like to walk...the walkers in the group walked easily to Tipsy Turtle down the beach. 10. Shutter Windows were great for helping with windy nights. 11. Fantastic communication with Ryson and very friendly employee at home when we arrived finishing up home. Cons: (Not really any cons) 1. Microwave tray was missing 2. Humidifiers don't cut off automatically so they overflowed a few times. We emptied out the one top of the stairs landing 6 or 7 times. I believe the other downstairs was working fine. 3. Icemaker is very small and not working well so we purchased our own ice. 4. Screendoor on main level outside was difficult to keep close during windy nights. 5. Would be helpful to have some basic cooking supplies in the house like salt and pepper Our stay was MAGICAL and we are hoping to stay at the same house again some day. We made wonderful memories there and appreciate you sharing your home with us. Thank you for everything.”

“We had a family beach vacation of 14 and had a special needs child. The house was very accommodating And the beach area was convenient and not at all crowded . It was almost like a private beach for us! The house was spacious, great kitchen for our 14 guests and the loft was ideal for our teens! Just need a new can opener and more than 4 coffee mugs! Highly recommend this awesome beach home!”
