“The oven didn’t work. The mattresses are not a good quality & not comfortable at all. The carpet needs cleaning. There is no liner to the shower curtain upstairs & the curtain has a gross stain. The boat lift does not work. There is only one outside trash can. The stairs inside are steep & dangerous. The upstairs AC significantly leaks onto the deck below. The house is not ready to be rented. It is just kind of gross. The house needs to pressure washed.”

“Could use a little updating. Carpet needed cleaning. But we really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect space for our group of 12. Loved being on the canal.”

“The house was really clean and the beds all had good mattresses. It has great potential and it looks like the owners may be in the process of fixing it up. I would recommend that they just take it out of service for a month or so and finish it. Some rooms had unpainted patches on the walls and areas that looked like they stopped in the middle of painting. The tub in the lower bathroom had been recaulked but it looked like a child had done it over the old caulk. The deck and rails were splintering so bad you couldn't go out without shoes and certainly had to be careful when using the hand rails. There were also several slats on the deck that were unattached at the bottom so we had to keep the kids away from that area. One of the guys was jumping on the deck with his daughter and the deck bowed under him and the TV inside and items on the shelf were all swaying. It was really clean and the beds were comfortable but we won't be staying there again.”
