I decided to send an item to Germany on the 7th of February 2022. The item, after the duties not being paid by the receiving party, was sent back to the UK and arrived on UK soil on the 17th of February. Fast forward until May 13th 2022, the item has since been lost by DPD Local, through their incompetence and lack of attention and as my item was a "prohibited" item they can not process the claim to at least get some compensation. When deciding on a logistics company make sure you read all of the "T&Cs" for "prohibited items" which were not available when I was signing up. It wasn't until I was going through the claim process the team from DPD Local presented me the T&Cs. Horrendous service, complete incompetence and the customer service is the worst I have experienced.
