Disgraceful company that blames customers for delivery mens theft!
Evri were due to deliver my dishwasher between 19.00-21.00 (already slightly odd), but at 15.28pm I receieved an email that apparently the package was undeliverable because of an issue with delivery. So I contacted Evri and asked about my delivery two days later (I assumed they would try and redeliver) and was first told the address was wrong and the parcel was back at the depot, then when I asked them (via chat bot) about redelivery the tracking said it was inside my porch, which was funny since I don't have a porch (this was swiftly removed from the tracking when I informed them of this), then the non delivery reason was then changed back to "incorrect address", however when I enquired about getting it redelivered again the parcel (which is a huge dishwasher remember) it was "untraceable" and they would look into it. Anyway, a week later and a week of email excuses, and they still can't find it, and I'm now told to contact Temu for a refund, so I do that and Temu refund me, and I order another dishwasher. Foward a week, upon delivery of second dishwasher the Evri delivery man inadvertently tells me his mate recently got one of these, names the brand even, and that they are great!" So I say to him "yes, I'd have 2 if the first one hadn't gone missing!" he then looks sheepish and walks away! (he obviously only referred to his friends new dishwasher to myself because he was never actually here, so had no idea whom he had stolen it from) I inform Evri of what happened with the delivery man, but they still insist it was "incorrect address" that was the reason for non-delivery; however, they won't provide me with the address they used and constantly ignore my request for the info. When I informed Evri of the conversation between I and the delivery man, it was ignored, I am then blamed again for incorrect address (even though they won't provide the address they used), and the theft and my long inconvenience is ignored.
Evri are disgusting and they allow their delivery men to steal and blame customers for their incompetence.
The screenshot shows their final response that was received this morning. They say it's "unaccounted" now, but offer nothing as compensation and do not apologise for the repeated accusation that I had provided an incorrect address or for the theft of the dishwasher.
