“With reference to MG Rovers Spares - I am very unhappy with this company. At first I was spoken to very nicely and told that my replacement engine would be with me 2- 3 days. Friday at the very latest. I paid for it in full last Tuesday. When it still hadn't arrived by Friday lunchtime I called. What a different attitude!! I was told no I wasn't getting it it would be Monday. I explained that it was booked into the garage to be done Friday evening/Saturday and the mechanic had turned away other work to fit this in. Basically tough was there attitude - nothing would be done. Eventaully told that someone there end had gone sick and therefore they were behind. A telephone call to explain this would have been nice and things could have been re-arranged this end. The replacement engine arrived today - as naked as a new born baby - as my mechanic put it. A totally bare block. I was not told this would be a totally bare block. Feeling very annoyed as plenty of other places have replacement engines and would have sent the whole thing. I feel cheated and mis sold. A very poor service. I would not recommend this company.”

“good in the past, had a quote from dealer phoned witch I now find to be a premium rate no 070 after hanging on twice it said press no 1 we will ring you back i did this twice. next day I rang it again and it was answerd i was asked for the part no I said I only have the ref no you gave me this was no good .I HAVE TAKEN THE ADDRESS OFF AND WILL NOT USE AGAIN, I STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THE CALLS I have now bought from some one else disgueted jOHN”

“A& C Auto Salvage failed to advise of an error with their stock following clarification on the exact product specification the day after the order was placed and accepted leading the buyer and independent mechanic under the impression that it had been processed to discover two days later when it did not arrive that it had not even been dispatched.”
