“247 is an excellent vehicle ( pardon the pun) for sourcing spares can't say the same fore some of my responses though, One company contacted me to say that they had a rear bumper for my Focus and gave me a price, when I phoned and asked for a photo they said it was raining and they would send in the afternoon, never came so I phoned again said they had not sent a photo because they had not been able to locate the bumper ! that was yesterday, still waiting ? two more gave prices but unbelievable difference in carriage charges one was £7-99 the other £45 ?? oh well local scrapper may be the next move.”

“Absolute abhorrent customer service! Ordered a gearbox for my wife's car, 1 day delivery service advertised but due to being 'extremely busy' it wouldn't be delivered until Tues / Wed of the following week - suited us as the car was booked in for Thursday. Ten phone calls and three days after the due date still no gearbox ... despite having been told on numerous occasions we'd be called back, no-one ever did! Incidentally, 0703 numbers are 50p a minute for the uninitiated! The gearbox finally arrived yesterday, 10 days after ordering. If ... IF anyone does decide to use this service, check on the courier service being used ... P4D is not a courier, but a courier agency, make sure you have the actual courier' name and contact number, and if possible get a tracking number. I will NEVER use this service again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“First of all. Stop using the 0703 number. I am stopped from using premium rate numbers. Fortunately, the breakers called me and I was able to buy what I needed. So, you offer a great service and then spoil the effect by using a premium rate number.”

“I haven't received headlight yet as I requested it sent to the garage where it will be fitted next week , Anyway , Quarry BMW spares were very helpful and seemed to know everything about BmW's and came with a no quibble money back guarantee if second hand part doesn't work .”

“I was happy with the service provided by 247 Spares until I received my mobile phone bill. It showed that 247 Spares uses an '070' contact number which charges premium rates. My enquiry lasted a few minutes and cost me £9.60! The website makes no mention of this (or if it does it is well hidden!) and this is not treating customers fairly. I am submitting a complaint to Ofcom!”
