“I had quite a lot of quotes for the part that I requested. Most were more expensive than approaching a breaker direct and some had premium rate phone numbers to call if you wished to buy from them. I did not buy the item this time but I have had parts in the past and have been very pleased with the service”

“I got quite a few offers for the used part for a Honda; prices for the same part varied by a factor of over 2 - between £32 & £80 (mostly £40 to £60). I found I could get the same part (new but not necessarily original Honda) online from USA for as little as $20 (plus delivery). Seemingly no similar online offers in the UK! Why not? Finally after ringing Honda I tried a Honda dealer and have ordered the part (not in their stock) for circa £36 incl. of VAT. Delivery to them next day!”

“Great service. Not so good when you get put through to a call centre and get someone who has no idea about car parts, but great when you get through to an actual breaker that has good knowledge in car parts. All in all a very handy service.”

“The process was very good and the time to respond by the dealers was also good. What was disappointing was that the prices for a used item was less than 10% less than the price I could get the item new, complete with fixing screw and tool case. Purchased the new item.”
