“I ordered £90 worth of wool on the 16th June I am still waiting for it to arrive. Deramores have changed their procedures for international ( I live in Spain) delivery. I have been in contact with their customer service, over 40 messages, but I am not getting anywhere. I have repeatedly asked for a refund but as the delivery companies are not willing to say they have lost my package Deramores say they cannot refund.”
“wow, ordered yarn a month ago, have sent various emails asking where yarn is and when it will arrive. never, never a response, thinking i might be out $81.00. will never order yarn from them again. many emails sent , never a response as to date.”
“I bought 2 packs of Deramores safari cal, having been asked if i could make them. The yarn substitute (Deramores DK) they have sent with the packs is not the same yarn (Deramores Baby Soft DK) as the squares should be made in, the thickness of the yarn is different the yardage is different and it gives two different size squares. There are no details on the pattern about the yarn sub and no info anywhere, the response i have had from them is it's the same composition ? yes they are both acrylic. I have been told i can return the goods minus the yarn already used for a refund, these blankets are for people that have asked me to make them like the picture, and not for myself. I'm not out to get anything for nothing as i have had to purchase the correct yarn to make them. Anyone buying the kit and pattern beware that you will have to purchase the 2 balls of Deramores baby Soft DK extra on top. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL !!!!.”

“Products and customer service are great and would have given 5 stars if it were not for the TERRIBLE experience with HERMES delivery service.
I know this is the free option and an alternative is available but that doesn't excuse how unreliable Hermes are. Hermes emailed to say could not deliver as no one at property and no where to leave. CCTV showed they didn't attempt to deliver to the commercial property where there is a reception and sign telling them where to deliver!!!
So many reviews mention the frustration's with Hermes, we can't all be wrong. For this reason I will not be ordering in the future. There are plenty of other sites (WOOL WEARHOUSE) with reliable couriers.

“Sent out yarn and charged me for an order I cancelled. I emailed straight away but they just sent order out. Also their default delivery charge is the most expensive option, that delivery option wasn’t even available when I ordered the correct yarn. Emailed again, but was told I would get a discount on my next order. That’ll be the first of never then.”
“placed order 26th Jan with all items in stock, 1st 2 times on chat help told we will email you, 3rd time (different operator) explained error on their systems and could refund as now not in stock, shame 1st operator didnt do this as order was for Wife's valentines day Present

“I would strongly advise everyone not to use this unscrupulous company. Try Knitting Network and Love Craft online sites as they guarantee to send the same dye lots for all purchases. Deramores send lots of random dye lots which are unusable and refuse to address this unethical practice.”
“Don't be duped. Horrible experience with this company. I ordered 12 kits. Each kit should have come with the yarn and the instructions. What i got was a bag of yarn not the kits i paid $241 for, but a bag full of yarn that i have to sort out into kits. If i just needed yarn i would have got it from Joanne or Michaels. nothing special about the UK yarn. i just needed kits to make it easier on myself. I have no idea whether i got the correct yarn for each kit since the yarn was in bulk. When i complaint they said they will send my feedback to the warhouse for future processing. Don't be duped. the company has no integrity whatsoever. They made a mistake and said just go to website and figure it out. I said at least mail me list of of each kit with which yarn and pattern. they sent me a txt on messenger so i can sort out the yarn. that is not what i paid for. They are very deceptive and dishonest. Worse of all they said they didn't make a mistake when clearly absolutely did not sent me what i paid for. don't be duped.”

“Dreadful company with terrible customer service! AVOID and use a more reliable company. Couldn't care less attitude when I tried to find out where my supposedly delivered parcel was, told they could only email hermes and I just had to wait for their response.staff member I spoke to couldnt care less and was quite sharp with me on the phone. After 5 days of no response and no call back as promised, I contacted hermes ceo myself who responded and investigated immediately. Deramores customer service couldn't be bothered to read my emails and didn't really apologise or accept any responsibility other than to say they had a response from Hermes now. (It was the one instigated by me!) Terrible customer service.”
“I placed an order 21 August. To date I have not recieved the order and shipment was last updated 27 August on the tracking site, parcel was somewhere in the world at a place I dont know where it is. Emails and calls get no response at all. I do believe I have wasted my time, I am not going to get the yarn I ordered or get my money that I paid for it back, thats not right! To take money and theres nothing to show and no response to emailed queries, isnt that almost like stealing...?”
