Cement Sofa is a completely different colour than advertised and no one wants to help. Wish I could post a picture to show this to warn others. The picture clearly shows this as a nice grey colour however this sofa is a very dark grey/green colour and nothing like the colour in the pictures advertised. The store has told us that there is nothing they can do and I have currently been on hold, waiting to speak to someone in customer services for 3 hours, I was on hold the other day for an hour and gave up but am determined to speak to someone as don’t feel we have been treated fairly. This company does not care about customers or making them happy in the slightest and just wish I had never bothered ordering from them, I have paid £3000 for a sofa and footstool that was supposed to be grey and is a dark shade of greyish green and no one wants to offer any resolution. This has left me very stressed and upset.

I’m currently number 9 in the call queue and it’s taken me 1hr and 18 minutes to get from number 15! I’ve just had my second lot of faulty goods delivered and although the engineer reported the fault I’m having to call you! This service is disgusting and I would never use or recommend Harvey’s

Absolute rubbish! Ordered sofa back in June. No swatch to look at so ordered per picture on the website and sales persons’s words. Delivery team contacted me on time but couldn’t deliver as there was outstanding unpaid balance for an extra insurance product which I said I didn’t want and was promised on a number of occasions by a sales lady that she would take it off but she never did. After hours on the phone to delivery team and customer services who by the way were zero help, 4 different people swore to call me back and never did. Promised twice that the manager will call me within 72 hrs and they never did. Constant lies!!!! And here we go, they finally delivered our grey sofa which came all nicely packaged, quickly put together but only it is Not grey as we ordered, it is Dark Green! Here we go again, another dispute with them, Customer services lines are down for 2 days now!! Honestly sick and tired, why customers even have to put up with retailers like that?? Lies lies and nothing but lies. 12/09/19 today, contacted the store who once again promised to call me on Saturday... Dear Harveys headquarters, if anyone actually there reading this and taking their customers seriously and actually has a slight clue what the key FCA principle of TCF treating customers fairly is - Please take ownership and get this resolved ASAP! if this not sorted and I don’t get a long promised call from a manager with resolution, I will have to contact furniture ombudsman and finance provider to cancel and exercise my rights under CCA act.

Collected 4 chairs from Harveys on 19/8/19 and when putting them together the bolts were too big and split one of the chair legs. I have not heard from them and it is now over 3 weeks and their customer complaints extension number is 'unobtainable'. Customer service is rubbish if you have a problem - my order number is A6971913

Do not buy from this company. Well unless you want your pants pulled down. I recently had a 3 seater sofa, 2 seater sofa and dining room table with 6 chairs. Every part of my furniture was damaged which isn't surprising when it was delivered in such a way i was shocked when i reviewed the footage back on my cctv. The delivery drivers dropped the boxes off the back of lorry which had my sofa and dining room chairs inside. i sent this footage to harvey's and said they would look into the matter. They also damaged my walls which again they said they would look into. i sent the pictures of the damage and they arranged for a second delivery for the dining room set and a furniture specialist to look at the sofa. The furniture specialist filed a report all 8 feet were damaged and we would have to wait for them to come in from abroad. The second delivery never showed up after we waited in all day and i confirmed in the morning that the delivery was out for that day. Again we were told this would be looked into. We had the second delivery rescheduled and had to wait in again. The table and chairs turned up and again different delivery drivers had damaged another wall which they tried to ignore until we brought it to their attention. once unpacking there was damage to the table and damage to one chair by this point i had had enough. I contacted `Harveys customer service again and was told pictures weren't good enough so had to send again, they offered me £150 allowance to keep the damaged items. I asked the to put on hold until full complaint resolved. I spoke to an advisor today who told me public liability have sent me a letter but can't disclose what resolution is to damage to property and as far as they are concerned no further action required as i had been offered £150 compensation. I was totally disgusted and insulted considering i was going to accept £150 to keep the items not compensation for the sheer ignorance and incapability of Harveys customer service. I asked who i can escalate this to and one person says take us to court and another advised me to seek 3rd party advice. Spent nearly £4000 to receive service like this. Every time i asked to speak to a manager they said no there is no reason to as they are trained to deal with every situation. They have done a poor job of that. This has now been passed to watchdog and the financial ombudsmen for investigation. What an insult trying to palm me off with an allowance to keep as compensation

Bought leather recliner sofa feb 2017 it has gone flat on one side of the seat and can feel metal bar when recliner is up.phoned customer service twice yesterday and was 17 th and 19th so asked for callback !! Still waiting rang today and eventually got through and was told as it was more than a year old I would have to pay £48.50 for an independent company which they recommend to get a report to say it was a manufacturing fault before they would consider anything if that wasn’t the fault they would do nothing,. They have got to be the worst company in the world shoddy furniture and a non existent customer service dept

Went to look at corner sofa and saw a nice one. Price tag was £1468 which we thought was ok. On looking at the small print on price tag this was the price of you bought it with another item the price if bought on its own was £ 2400!! Asked the salesman who said “do u not want to buy a chair?”. Well no we just want to buy the sofa. Told us that he had found a way to blip the system that if we bought a set of gliders for £4 we could have sofa for £1468! We decided that we would do this but he explained the systems were down and we couldn’t leave a deposit that day but if we came back next day it would be working! Went over to his desk so he could take all the details down. We asked about delivery and he said it was £69 and we asked if he would waive that but he said he couldn’t! Went to try and sell us insurance which we said we were interested in so he then went on to say that he would give us 10% off the sofa being £146! This being double of what the delivery was!!!! We left the shop as we just had a bad feeling and went to another store got a sofa for price on ticket (no hidden wording) and fore delivery!!!

I am generally very understanding and considerate to the fact that issues arise with delivery and product quality. I also allow for these problems to be rectified and am aware that thing take a bit of time to organise. Unfortunately I feel the need to leave this review (never left a bad review in my life). Harvey's customer service, product quality and delivery service is nothing short of a disgrace. After purchasing two products from store to the value of approx £4,000 their delivery dates were a mess between failed deliveries and not being contacted regarding deliveries. The dining table arrived broken, called into store as mainland Customer service was as useful as a chocolate fireguard. The salesman actually told us he was leaving as was fed up listening to customer complaints, having to sell poor quality produts and being forced to upsell ridiculous extras, all after we had paid in full for both items. So 2nd table arrived also broken, I tried to refuse delivery which I was told I can't do as they were had no space in lorry. Weeks later after another day booked off work for scheduled collection they don't show AGAIN!!. Also, still waiting on call regarding compensation for 3 days lost off work and price promise guarantee. This company is an absolute shambles with absolutely no customer values whatsoever. I would 100% recommend a wide berth when considering purchasing any furniture from this company and if you do good luck if you ever have any issues as I can guarantee the frustration will be sure to put you off ever doing so again.

Bought a 3 piece suite from Harvey's and when delivered was damaged, they sent a technician out who said it needed a new sleeve but would take 3 months, when it came it was the wrong colour. We were advised to go back to the store and deselect which we did, another 3 months wait and when that arrived it was a completely different colour to what we ordered. We were then told the colour we wanted wasn't available in that suite and to go back and deselect. Again we went to the store and ordered a leather 3 piece suite and waited a further 3 months. When that arrived there was a large gap on the three seater soafa, we contacted Harvey's who sent a technician out to inspect. We then had to wait for the report which we were told was a fault and a technician would come to repair. After almost 18months from we first ordered, all the hassle and waiting we have now been informed by another technician that it's not leather, and the product we were given for cleaning it shouldn't be used. I would never buy from Harvey's again and would strongly recommend others to stay clear of them.

Bought a recliner chair for invalid mother , had a problem with motor drive, a company as big as Harveys don’t hold any stock, they ordered the part from China, the engineer looked at the chair approximately 10 weeks ago ,they still don’t know when the part is due to arrive , absolutely ridiculous I’d never ever buy anything off Harvey’s again

Damaged table delivered twice. Delivery men refused to put it up or check it although we had paid for them to do this. Two damaged tables and we can't get a refund until they pick it up and they can't tell us when they are going to pick it up..... dreadful quality, delivery drivers dreadful, put the phone down on me.

Paid cash last year for a leather sofa and chair. On delivery one of the straps broke on the sofa when the men were putting the cushions on, so we were told someone would be in touch to mend it. A few weeks later we had to chase up as heard nothing, eventually this was mended. Almost one year on one of the sofa cushions has wrinkled and feels as though the inside has split......uncomfortable to sit on. Contacted Customer Service and a guy came out, took photos and said that perhaps the webbing had stretched. We were under the i pession when we purchased it that it was sprung. He said that probably we would not hear anymore from Harvey’s. How right was he, we again contacted them and were told there is nothing wrong and they would not be doing anything about it. We are now taking this up with the Furniture Ombudsman as Harvey’s refused to confirm in writing that they will not be doing anything g about it. I was informed by several people that aftercare was not good from Harvey’s but I gave them the benefit of my custom, but never again as their Customer Service is a joke and should I be asked by others what I thought of the service will give an honest answer. I feel like delivering my sofa back to the store. Harvey’s is a joke.

Furniture arrived very scratched because it had been packed with pieces of mdf with nails sticking out of it. Harvey's are taking nearly 2 weeks to deliver a new one, meanwhile my children and I have nowhere to sit and eat, except the floor. Harvey's are point blank refusing to hurry the new order through, customer service are fairly polite but absolutely useless and unwilling to actually help. Terrible company.

HARVEYS ARE A DODGY FURNITURE COMPANY - BEWARE & DONT BE DECEIVED BY THE 50% OFF ADVERT Where do I start. I placed an order for a sofa (Serento) on 15/03/19 after being told there was a set available in the warehouse and it will be delivered within 1 to 2 weeks because I needed it for Easter. I made a £200 deposite. It’s been 5 months now and I am still waiting. I’ve had to chase up Harvey’s so many times and even went back to the store I ordered from. I have been told for the 2nd time today that they are just about to place the order, which can take another 12 weeks or more to be ready. I was offered £200 as compensation (insult). I’ve asked for the order to be cancelled if that is the best they can do. I wait to see how long it will take for them to refund. They even gave false information that they contacted me and left a message when in actual fact they did not, wow what a company.

Awful service in Solihull store. Salesman appeared totally disinterested and dismissive of our questions about dining table and chairs. Didn't seem to know which chairs were part of the deal. When asked about how the furniture arrived he couldn't tell us if the chairs or TV unit needed assembling. We began to place the order but half way through we told to ' hang on' and he disappeared for 5 minutes to talk to someone else. Needless to say we did not continue with the order!

If i could give zero stars I would. Simply the WORST experience ever. Spending over £1500 and told my goods would be with me in 9 weeks. 16 weeks later they arrive. Only problem is they are damaged and the incorrect product sent. I then have to chase their pitiful customer service who cannot speak to me about it as it was a web sale and that's a different team that don't have telephones apparently. Why the customer service team cannot simply advise me is beyond me. I am told it would take 10 working days for someone to contact me.........to date NOTHING. Utterly astounding this company can operate with such a lack of service. I wonder if anyone will take the time to actually speak to me. Probably the worst experience shopping of my life please avoid at all costs for your own sanity.

Bought a corner sofa from Harvey’s after 6 month the cream leather devolved a pink tone on 1 seat. Rang after this developed on both all the back and seats after a year. I was asked to pay a fee of £45 as the sofa was a year old. A young man came looked and said dye transfer. My husband and I are pensioners with no pets or small children. Looks to me that the dye and worn away this is such a sham as apart from that the sofa is fine apart from when you now look at it it looks as though it needs a good clean as this is not the case . We are now looking to replace the sofa as it spoils the look of the living room. After reading reviews about the popular sofa stores I just don’t know where to look to buy a descent product that will at least last 10 years or I’m I expecting too much
