“I trusted the polite salesman,the cost of 5 windows was very good,especially as the hard wood frames were embedded in render. It was a struggle to get them out,but with care and perseverance they were removed with little damage.The new ones are now in place,and the render tidy up finished. “Absolutely disgusted and fed up of this company nothing but problems from them. We ordered a door over a year ago and still having problems with it. We’ve been locked in twice because the the lock jammed and locked out twice for the same reason. The door handle kept falling off now this morning it’s fallen off again!! Can’t get through to installations, the phone line keeps cutting off surprise surprise it’s probably all the dissatisfied customers with dodgy workmanship trying to get through. Really fed up with them every time a workman comes rounds to fix one thing another thing goes or hadn’t been done properly. Never once have they compensated us with anything at all. They just say sorry all the time. Well SORRY DOESN’T CUT IT ANYMORE !!!

“I had some windows installed on 8th Jan 2018. After a few weeks I noticed an 8 - 10 mm scratch between one of the double glazed units. To cut a long story short it still hasn't been fixed 21 months later! I am a full time carer looking after my husband who has dementia and although I kept ringing Zenith I haven't got the time to keep chasing people. Just be warned that my experience of their after sales communications are rubbish.”

“Unreal ! We were Quoted almost £12k for a garage door and front door. Which quickly reduced to £7k if we take up ‘today’s special deal’ Upon further discussion over price we were offered the same deal for £4500. Incredible how the price can suddenly drop so dramatically within 30 minutes. The sales chap was pleasant but you guys are rip off merchants !”
“Got a salesman round for a quote about 3 months ago. I was expecting the long sales pitch. We did decide to buy the door. Not cheap but we knew it was good quality. Door was fitted by good tradesmen, two very pleasant young lads who done a good job.
The main thing we are furious and upset at is the £349 "admin fee." At the time we thought it was the deposit. If we were made aware it was an admin fee I don't think we would have paid it. When I made complaints to Zenith about this all they keep saying is para... Explains this.
You have 7 days to cancel the order but the admin fee is non refundable!!!
Not happy. I have noticed similar complaints on other review sites. I won't be using this company again and will not be recommending them even though their product is good.
Just be more upfront when selling and less of the sales pitch with phone calls to the "manager." Embarrassing and a wasting time. It was like being back in the 80's.”
“new door took 6 months, 3 different doors and 2 surveyors measures. It was a Zenith door of 12 years being replaced with a new Zenith door. Also they had to return at least 13 times. Diabolical.”
“The salesperson said we would be able to install the windows in phases, paid admin fee and signed contract. Turns out that is not possible. Cancelled contract, yet after repeated calls I have still not received the admin fee. DON'T TRUST ZENITH WITH WHAT THEY SAY!!!!!”
“Dreadful experience. A salesman came along to give me a quote. He totally out stayed his welcome. Over two & half hours. He then quoted me the ridiculous price of over £23,700 to double glaze a 3 bed semi. Then after a phone call to his boss the price dropped to £11,400 but I had to sign there & then. I told them to go away. Despite this they kept ringing the next day. I eventually answered the phone only to be spoken to in a very aggressive & demeaning fashion.
I would rather let my windows fall out than deal with these people.”
“Zenith windows cold calling in the Totton area today. Knocked on the door of an elderly lady I look after, even though there is a sign stating ‘ no cold callers ‘ so glad I answered the door, as the young man was very persistent and was picking faults in her windows. He didn’t seem to understand the word No..! Please be aware of this company especially if you are vulnerable and easily persuaded.”
“Very unpleasant sale experience, they wouldn’t take no for an answer. Dealt with Zenith customer service afterwards, another male with the same aggressive style. Beware, especially if you’re vulnerable in any other way.”
“Absolutely disgusted with Zenith windows. I ordered a Velux window and was assured that the scaffolding was included in the price. They then sent the men to try and install it WITHOUT scaffolding! It had already been measured and definitely needs scaffolding to install it.
I then waited over a month...and heard nothing. Repeated attempts to get through to customer service and was told my order had been cancelled BY THEM.
So far no reply to my repeated emails other than a request for a bank statement to prove I paid the deposit so they can refund it.
So through another avenue I found out the penny pinching company decided they wouldn't pay for the scaffolding. Unless I fork out another £550 I won't get my window. 😡”
“All I wanted was a quote for some fascia and guttering. Salesman turned up on time ( good start ) but then things started to go down hill fast. Over 2 hrs of hearing all the spill about the company and the product then the price. WOW.. nearly £6000 and just the front and back; but then came the clever bit .If I was to take out credit with them and sign on the day amazingly the price would drop to £4300.Then another 30mins of trying to say no ( this was when the real hard sell tactics came in )and still no no no ...but but but..FFS just go... pressure selling at its worst. My advice if you don’t like bullying steer well clear of this company oh and I wasn’t left my quote what a result”
“So absolutely disgusted by the door-to-door salesman who have called in the Purbrook area today. We are in a block with no cold calling on doors. They still knocked. I said I wasn’t interested and was then referred as another pair of boobs to the guy at the next door who between them continued to insult our neighbours. Absolutely disgusting!!! Their body language was more like door bouncers. Was looking to get new windows... not from Zenith now, no way.... and reading their reviews, wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡”
