“Compete heating installation boiler,rads, HW tank Oct 2020. Absolutely first class very professional and outstanding quality of work. Take a tip from me, gave them a key and relax. I went for a short break. I came back all done and house very clean. A few days later, I received a call saying, I had paid too much and they refunded me over £300 straight away, how many companies would do that! Kev installer 6 stars ⭐️.”

“If you require a reliable and professional team who go that extra mile then I would highly recommend A & D plumbing services. They replaced our boiler with new in October with no fuss, no mess and highly respectful of our home ( they took their shoes off) They definitely deserve more than 5 stars.”

“Excellent company to do business with. The two engineers who fitted the new boiler were hard working and knowledgable. (Kevin and Matt thank you) They both kept a clean and tidy work space and I would not hesitate to employ them again. The boiler pipe work was not straight forward but this was overcome with minimal fuss and discussed with me before the solution was put in to practice. A professional job completed for a very reasonable price. Thank you.”

Daniel presented a very detailed and fairly priced quote for a new boiler, which was fitted promptly during a week when we were unable to be in the house. They are totally trustworthy and respectful. They are now our plumbers of choice and they will be invited back annually to service our new boiler.”

“No water at 10:30pm on Bank holiday Sunday. Called A&D. We had an engineer/ Plumber on site by 11:15pm. Problem fixed by 11:55pm. Friendly and efficient service. Really well done. Many thanks”

“A disappointing experience for a simple tap replacenent which took 2 visits as the plumber didn’t check his work before leaving the first time. Expensive bills both times! Not interested in a dialogue or customer service regarding billing.”

Dear Customer We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with our charges and the service provided. We are aware that your job was to replace a tap that you supplied. We quoted you £85.00 +VAT to install the tap, which you agreed to the price before we attended site to carry out the work. Once completed the bill was £85.00 +VAT as originally quoted and agreed. Four days later you called to say the tap was leaking. We explained that all of our work comes with a 1 year guarantee so if it was anything to do with our work it would be free of charge, however if it was the tap which was supplied by yourself then it would not be covered by our guarantee. We attended site the next day as agreed and on arrival found it was the tap that was faulty, although it was a manufacturing defect and not related to our work we carried out a repair which we charged £22.50 +VAT. Unfortunately we cannot extend our guarantee to cover parts that we do not supply so on this occasion it meant we made a small charge to rectify the manufacturing defect. We have corresponded with yourself by phone to explain the circumstances but unfortunately you were unhappy that we could not carry out the repair to the tap you supplied for free. “Discussed heating problem via email. Was advised likely costs. Then able to book engineer within 2 days. He was on time at 7.30am, having rung me to confirm. Work was completed quickly and efficiently. Heating system is now back to normal. Would definitely recommend A& D Plumbing.”

“An extremely efficient service. The assessment visit was carried out promptly, followed swiftly by a quote and an early appointment to replace the boiler. The fitter who did the work was punctual, polite, clean and tidy and did a fantastic job very quickly and with no mess. Full marks to the team! I would strongly recommend them. Justin Fenwick QC”

“Generally OK but expensive and although the boiler was successfully fixed, the dripping tap was not even though I purchased 2 replacement ceramic washers. It was unfortunate that the plumber/heating technician was unable to return on the day booked due to ill health and this meant a delay over a bank holiday.”

Dear Mrs Child Thank you for your review, we have looked into the issues with the delay on the second visit and the tap problem. We apologise for the delay in the second visit which was unfortunately increased due to the bank holiday weekend. The parts for your boiler were stated as obsolete by the manufacturer which would have usually meant a new boiler was required. After calling and visiting several small independent suppliers we managed to obtain the parts to fix your boiler, as these were the last parts available and the engineer who had them on his van had called in sick on the day he was due to fit them, there was no way of sending one of our other engineers out to complete the works. With regards to the tap which was leaking badly on arrival, we replaced the cartridges on the hot and cold which reduced the leak significantly, although the filter tap part was still letting by. As we could not remove the cartridge from this part as it was seized into the tap body we isolated the supply from underneath. This stopped the leak and left the tap working with both hot and cold supplies fully functional excluding the filter attachment. We apologise again for the delay in the boiler repair which although is not up to our usual prompt service, but on this occasion it was unavoidable. Best Regards A&D Plumbing Services 0800 9755166
