A &D were able to attend to the job quickly . Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and efficient and communication about the job was excellent . Would recommend.

A&D Plumbing installed a new boiler for us a few weeks back. They were extremely efficient and professional throughout the whole process and pleasure to deal with both before and after the installation.

On 23 June 2016, I called you because There was a water leak in the Airing Cupboard from the Pump and the cylinder. I wanted you to stop the water leak and stop the water from going to the ceiling of the kitchen. your engineer came and stop the main water only and told me that the water leak will stop after a while may be 2-4 hours. He spent about an hour waiting in the car telling me that he is waiting to receive the quotation from the office. After an hour the quotation had not arrived and he asked me for my email to send the quotation later. I paid the 96 pounds by Cheque to him. I was waiting for water leak to stop but it did stop and I spent all night drying the water by towels until the other engineer came in the afternoon of the day after from the insurance company and stop the leak from the tank up in the loft and he surprised why your engineer left this tank on. I wounder why your engineer did stop the leak from the upper tank and why I paid the money, what was for? If you fair enough I want you to apologise and refund my money

Dear Mrs Ibrahim, We’re sorry you were not happy with the service we provided on this occasion. Unfortunately this is the first we have heard from you on the matter so we have not had chance to discuss your concerns until now. When we attended the site it was made clear to our engineer that we were to keep the costs to a minimum, which he did by draining the tanks and isolating them. The water that had accumulated in the ceiling could only be removed by causing further damage to the ceiling, which would have increased your expenditure. Our engineer did turn your mains water back on after isolating the tanks so that you would at least have access to water. We apologise for the delay in getting the quotes to you, although we hope you will appreciate that this was partly due to the various options you asked us to quote for, and in the interests of being thorough with your requests and the information we supplied to you, this process took a little longer than ususal. We did however manage to get the detailed quotes to you within 70 minutes of you requesting them as we knew you wanted the work carried out as quickly as possible, if you chose to proceed. The time our engineer spent waiting was not added to you bill. We offer a 1 year guarantee on all our work and would have been happy to re-attend site to rectify any issues. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please don't hesitate to get back in touch with us.

I found the service reliable and reasonably priced. The engineers were pleasant and polite and explained things in everyday layman's terms which were easy to understand.

A fully professional team with amazing skills and know how. The new boiler you installed with no trouble and fast was a very generous gesture to my mother who is disabled and very elderly. The cold snap we had would have been very difficult for us to manage if you hadn't made the time in 2 days to do the work. Brilliant and I cannot recommend you highly enough. Plumber came to fix our toilet. Fitted a faulty part and didn't fix all the problems. We've spent £200 already with A&D and the toilet still doesn't work properly. Feel totally ripped off.

Dear Mrs Freeman We are sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately until the new button was fitted on your toilet it was not possible to test the other parts. With regards to the faulty part, we have already attended free of charge to identify that the part is faulty; occasionally parts are faulty which is out of our control, but we cover this under our guarantee. We are currently waiting for a new button to arrive so we can replace the faulty button, which as you know, we will carry out free of charge under our guarantee. Best Regards A&D Plumbing Services

We have use A&D Plumbing a number of times since moving house just over a year ago. Work undertaken has ranged from supply and installation of a new boiler, removing and fitting new radiators and investigating and repairing leaking pipe work. On each occasion the work done has been to a very high standard. Each engineer has arrived promptly and completed the work as required and left no mess! I would have no hesitation in recommending them, in fact after a few disasters with other local plumbing companies, A&D Plumbing are the only company I would use or recommend!

A&D Plumbing came the same day that I called regarding a broken toilet flush. The plumber did the job within the hour without any fuss. It was expensive - for the first hour they charge £80 and the total cost me £158.00. However, I was grateful to have the job done so quickly and the plumber also fixed a leak from the toilet. I liked the fact that the plumber did not say that I needed a new toilet as the previous plumber had done, which would have involved us in buying a new suite to match the new toilet. Our toilet was perfectly OK and now works better than ever since A&D did the job.

A very helpful service all round. The fitter had so many skills about him and cleared up everything afterwards. He even sawed my shelf so it fitted round the new boiler. Very pleased.

Too slow spent £600 for a shower that gave no hot water

We’re very sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectations for dealing with your case. We attended the site on 25/11/15 to find the power shower was not working. We managed to make the unit work but only briefly. On 26/11/15 we quoted to replace the shower giving either 28/11/15 or 30/11/15 as the earliest installation dates available. The date of the 30/11/15 was chosen. When we removed the old shower we found the wall behind the shower required repairing which would require another engineer which we sent the same day to carry out the repair (although this additional work was not included in the original quote there was no additional charge added for this). We also sent the installer back the same day so that the installation was still completed and tested on 30/11/15 with all operating instructions for the shower being left on site. After a couple of days it was reported that the shower was not getting hot enough, we booked a revisit for 07/12/15. On the agreed date we attended site with a replacement shower in case the installed one was faulty we could fit the new one the same day. We found there was no fault with the shower and it was not being used correctly. The shower was only being turned up to 41 degrees which is the highest it will go up to the red safety button. We instructed the customer that when the red safety button is depressed the shower will go up to 46 degrees (anything above this temperature would cause skin to burn). As there was no fault with the shower or the installation this visit would normally have incurred a charge as it would not be covered by our 1 year free of charge parts and labour guarantee. Although this was the case we waived this charge. Since the visit on 07/12/15 we have had no further contact to say the shower is cold.
