“The actual fitting went very well, no fuss or bother. I was expecting a screen to tell me what my usage was but I could not see one, when I asked the installer as he was just leaving, where it was he told me its on an app and I had to download it. No instructions how to do this or how to use it!
I thought this was bad as it took my quite a while to figure it out. I think it would have been better and more informative if the installer were to show customers how to do this before leaving.”
“The smart meter is working well . I had one problem where i put some money and it did not register . I can tell you if it did cause I forget to check. But other than that it all good.”
“As I wrote 9th May: "Installation process was very straightforward - difficult to see how the actual installation could be bettered. The engineer was polite and installed smart meter without fuss and checked electricity & gas was working OOK afterwards.
However, confimation of the actual time of arrival of engineer would have been appreciated. We were told he would arrive in the morning - any time after 8.30. In fact he did not arrive till early afternoon."”
“It keeps me on top of my payments and how much gas and electric I have used and left to use it's more convenient than having to keep checking the old meters”
