I went to Ackermans at Cloverdene and Putfontein Rroad. There is a lady named Valentine I found her there and I needed her advise about a phone since I wanted to upgrade to the new one. I politely asked her and she gave me a bad attitude she was rolling her eyes for me and she was laughing at my old phone she mentioned that i looks so cheap. I told her that my old phone is a standby and she decided to go out without assisting me and then i drove to Vodacom at Lakeside mall because Valentine failed to assist me as a customer.She is downgrading your shop and shes also rude very rude and her service was rubbish how could you laugh at the customers phone . I am not Satisfied .

They resold my paid up lay buy because I was unable to collect since I was outta province. Nobody called me to ask my whereabouts, today I went there to collect to my surprise 😮 my clothes were sold. It happened at lakeside mall ackermans women. In benoni. I ask for my money the manager offered a gift card I don't want it as I wont ever shop at ackermans. I want my money or my goods

I was just in your store. In paarl mall time 13H15 when i ask 1 of your assistance for help at the back of the store. She came leaving the door and her department unattended. She helped me and then i walk to the front of the store to the girls department and i hear a man scolling her out infront of the customers. He was cross because se left the door unattended so was she supposed to tell me i can't help you, i must be infront. He was like in f off at her telling her that this is not on for him. After he left i adk her sorry is this a customer she said no marm he is from head office. This happened at ackermans paarl mall. So sit let me tell you. From being your loyal customer your behavior was unexceptable. Why did you not turn around and go to the manager or supervisor who you never see on the floor and ask them kisten guys what can we do in a situation like this. They the manageres and supervisor you never see them only walking around in the mall during wirkking hours or outside to smoke. I felt bad for her because she was teary after he left. Please ask them the manageres and supervisor to do their work and stop sitting behind closed doors. Even if a person as a cluent stand at the till and the casher calls for autariz then they come in their own time. Give them a coarse of customer service representative and the others will follow. So from my side. Customers think twice to go to ackermans paarl mall. I dont want to give you a star the 1 star is for all the floor people excpecially the lady with the classes at the door and the one in ladies department.

Ackermans gateway cashier called Nomusa with short hair was very rude. After being told money was torn she talked back with a very nasty attitude. She needs to learn customer service

I should have read the reviews before shopping online. I regret it. DO NOT DO THE SAME MISTAKE Ackermans is the most useless shop when it comes to online shopping.

The customer service at ackermans connect in bridge city Kwamashu is the worst. They treat their customers as if they're giving out freebies. The staff is disgustingly incompetent, they don't even wear their name tags because they're standing there lying to customers and refusing to do their jobs!!

Worst Online Shopping At Ackermans Second week now since i ordered and paid online and since then i haven't heard a thing from Ackermans, it feels like i bought the goods from China, nightmare online shopping ever!

It doesn't even deserve a star for sure ...been waiting for an order for over 13days 2 orders when you call he call centre agent say they have no business wth Ur order the courier company has Ur parcel thy have no clue how or when I'll get it .. when it gets to the store they don't even send an SMS...last damn time I'm buying here

I am not happy with the guy in Fourways Mall, Colleen. I bought a phone on Saturday. It was specifically for my daughter and when I get home, she rejected it. I then took back to the shop, and explained to him everything. The phone is unused and the starter pack still unopened. He then tells me that the phone is non-returnable. I find it mind-blowing because there is nowhere in your terms and conditions where it states that. I want this resolved, I can't keep what am not going to use, and it's in its original packaging and forn never been used and less that 48hrs. How is that so. I need this resolved. Ackerman's service is pathetic. And guess what. They do not take pride in solving issues. So many issues and they turn a blind eye

I am not happy with ackermans at all. Sunday I bought a size 6 - 12 months Jean it was too big for my son. Today I received my order from ackermans and the tracksuit pants same size as the Jean are small I don't get it same size different cuts why? Another thing I ordered a cream white jersey and got a blue one instead and what's annoying is that the blue one is not even the same as the one I ordered, if the cream one was out of stock why didn't they say instead of giving me something I dont want.

Ordering online is terrible. Been tracking my order but it stays in one place for 5 days. I will not order online from Ackermans again

I wish I did not have to leave a star at all. I am sick and tired of customer u receive at Ackerman's Claremont. It is the second time that the store manager Anthea addresses me with disdain. The first time was in December 2022 and then again today. I cancelled my lay-buy the first time in December and was advised I needed my ID book to do so which is fine but in during our encounter she spoke over me and was just focused on me needing to understand her as she is the store manager. Today I went to cancel a lay-buy and the supervisor assisted the cashier. Tamlyn the supervisor walked away with my identification booklet. I was not comfortable with that as my Id Number and passport number is on there and it my personal property. During the time that she walked away with my identification booklet anything could have happened. My details could have been written down and fraudulent activity could have taken place not to mention information could have been taken to duplicate fraudulent activity amongst other. Eventually when Tamlyn returned Anthea came with her. She did not greet me she just said look here if a cancellation without a slip was done for you before it was done as a favour and this is the last time. She was quite abrupt. I tried to get a word in and she just spoke over me. She said all customers know they need there slip and just abruptly made it very clear that they did me a favour before. So Ackerman's does favours for customers without letting them know it's a favours? I am appalled by this and will discourage all whom I know to not support Ackerman's Claremont. this is the type of service one expects at a R5 store. Not Ackerman's a well established entity . Anthea deserves to stay where customers are not to have encounters with her. She's unprofessional and definitely brings disgrace to tg business I trust she will be dealt with!!!!!!!

Most pathetic online experience ever! They should learn a thing or 3 from Mr Price. It's taking weeks to deliver an item from one store to another. I regret ever having paid. DO NOT order anything online. You will regret. Their support is a joke! No call backs. No response to emails. Don't buy from a store who wants your money but provides pathetic service. I will put my experience on every social media platform!

Thee most rude call center people I am.Xhosa but the Xhosa ladies are so rude have no manner of approach , every month I am told my account is in arrears but I pay even more than my installment I am annoyed by these rude people on my phone every single day it's like they were trained to be the same it's actually disgusting.

Terrible in-store service @ Cavendish square the item I found on the sales was on a marked down price and when I got the till they told me that it was R349 yet it had a mark down red sticker which I then said it's marked down as all the other items was too ... FYI Ackerman's check your stock pricing correctly 😡

I have tried multiple times online and in store to resolve my issue with empty promises. I made a wrong payment and would just like to get my money back. A big company like Ackermans should be able to resolve a simple issue like this in a few working days, but incompetency results in absolute ignorance from Ackermans and staff. Can this please be resolved as soon as possible, so that I can close my account and buy from retailers who are competent and able to provide fair customer service.

The most rude call centre/consultants. The tone, approach especially the Xhosa speaking ladies. They are all the same as if they are trained in rudeness, they take the cup. Never ever in my life will I but from Ackermans on credit. They are not consistant with the monthly statements. I can't even remember when last I received a statement from them...I'm done

Online service is the worst your parcel will take long to be delivered to the chosen store.I wouldn't advice anyone to use the online service.
