Was talked into moving my home insurance over to take advantage of their multi policy discount. premiums went up by 100% and was argued with when i tried to leave. I recommend shopping around and avoiding these clowns at all cost

They're trying to get a claim off them is as bad as trying to get a refund your in for a world of hurt, avoid it all costs.

Got a quote of 20k car insurance for my car cost of 3000. Upon asking agent said that its the system. This system should be good.

After being with then for 5+ years car insurance they couldn't match quote for new insurance not very good no such thing as loyalty

Was surprised to find when removing 1 car from a 2 car insurance Admiral wanted to deduct an extra £140 from my rebate by applying a multi car discount I was not aware off. Cancelled the policy and went elsewhere.

Admiral decided to hit me with a extra £468 two payments at the end of my insurance term with them fir a non fault accident. Expressing that I would most likely have an accident again. That was in 2019??

despite all the waffle multi car is far dearer , got a far better quote via confused.com for two cars one with my no claims discount and one with no no claims discount

Sadly my experience as an Admiral customer has been a bad one; so much so that I have taken my renewal business to other insurers and paid more to do so. In September last year I was involved in a road traffc accident. I was stationary at the time and the 3rd party admitted full liability within 48 hours. However, from that point on, I was not treated by Admiral as a valued customer; indeed, on many occasions, my claims handler made me feel as though I had to justify each and every expense which I incurred as a result of the accident. Now, over 7 months later, my claim has been paid but the sum paid has not covered all of the out of pocket expenses - and don't get me started on the write-off valuation process!! In another twist to the whole sorry saga; my daughter was paid more for her claim for minor injuries than I was for the whole of my out of pocket expenses, including an injury to my arm which required physiotherapy treatment over a period of 8 weeks.

My father died suddenly on the 13th feb and was very unsettling so I was not thinking I got an email from admiral on the 10th I think of March telling me that my car insurance had been cancelled and I owed them £97 pounds to cover till end of my policy which should of ended 16 th April i went on line paid what I owed and then left it 3 days over weekend and then called to explain why my payment was late and had they restarted my policy I was told no they would not that I would not be getting my no claims for this year even thou I’d paid till end of year which I was told I haven’t paid so I emailed them the invoice and they still said they’d have to check so I was left with no insurance dad had died and I was stuck at my mums in wales I live surrey I was devastated angry and feel this is unfair treatment and there should of been something someone could of done to help me

Painful. Car was written off and I learnt that from the garage. No communication from them for 3 days. Turns out my claim had been misplaced

Thought I was insured but no! I was a victim of a break in and Admiral spent the next 8 months trying to find ways of not paying out. In the end no payment and refusal to insure in the future. Disgusting service and a worse ordeal with them than being robbed! Avoid if you want peace of mind with your insurance policy

First year quote good value, but then they uplift vastly. They have taken this new significant sum of money from my account even though we have cancelled, and I'm having a hell of a job getting it back. Delays and prevarication. It seems in this day and age banks can't transfer money within a fortnight!!!!

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Terrible, non existent customer service, huge delays in all replies. Definitely cannot be described as customer focus at all. Although the premium was slightly cheaper my experience with Admiral has proved you get what you pay for. My straight forward claim took three and a half years to resolve, in my opinion Admiral use delaying tattics in the hope you will give up. Friends have also encountered very similar problems. Although the accident was not my fault (third party admitted liability) Admiral made me feel like it was all my fault. Would never recommend Admiral to anyone, not even my mother in law!
