“The absolute WORST software on Earth. I pay these crooks a subscription fee every month only to have Photoshop crash every time I try to start it up. I have just loaded the latest "upgrade" and the program is absolutely USELESS. Every time I try to open it I get a message that Photoshop has unexpectedly quit and a "report" is sent to Apple. The worst part is Adobe just doesn't care - what a surprise that "customer support" is closed. ADOBE SUCKS - SAVE YOUR MONEY!”
“Do not sign up with Adobe, you will regret it. My experience has been so bad I'll soon be reporting them to the ICO for a GDPR breach over my payment details.
I had a subscription, it was cancelled, at that point I was told by a representative I had no subscriptions active subscriptions, anything on the account.
3 months later I realised they'd been charging me mistakenly. I got refunded, I asked them to delete my payment details and not charge me again.
2 months after that I realised they were still charging me. I got a refund, I again asked them to delete my details.
3 months later they are still charging me. I have spoken to agents 4-5 times, I was promised callbacks that never came, I'm never rude, yet they end the conversations randomly and claim they can't find the payments, I've sent them screenshots of my bank statements to prove the payments. They also keep asking me for the first 6-8 numbers of my card and the last 4, basically the whole card number, I don't even still have the card.”
“First, I found out that my information was breached on Adobe. I received no notification by mail no online messaging. I paid a monthly price for Lightroom Classic and Photoshop 2024. You have to do so much work on thise programs. My photographs don't need much tinkering. Certain things you thing is free within the software, its not. I had plenty of space in my computer. However, something continued to go wrong with the installation. The installation kept restarting. I had to remove it, then download a cleaner to fully remove it. I've had the software for almost a year. I couldn't continue to pay for something that I don't use. Adobe charged me $31.00 for early cancelation. How about you reimburse me for the breach of my information.”
“I agree with all the other reviews posted here. The cancellation fees are ridiculous.
I paid for a year's subscription and didn't even used it. I was even more mad because my job offered it for free. Most companies will allow you to at least cancel at no charge. Not Adobe! They forced me to keep paying! Please don't waste your time on a free trial!! Or if you do, set an alarm on your phone to cancel the day before the trial ends!!”
“I’d leave no starts if it would let me. I’m glad they are getting sued over this! I meant to click on the month subscription and accidentally clicked on the year subscription (my fault there entirely) when I went to cancel it tells me I owe the remaining amount for the year subscription but will loose all access immediately! Why would I pay for something I no longer get access to. Yes I understand I made a mistake too but to charge a huge “cancellation fee” aka we still want all our money we don’t care if you get access to the stuff or not, is just bull!! This company is a joke!”
“Worse app ever, I tried cancelling my account not only it was NOT allowed they have been charging me every month, I emailed them and they told me you have to pay extra to cancel your account, worse thing ever made is ADOBE”
“Adobe products are excellent. Buy them outright--DO NOT subscribe. They have predatory policies. They charge high cancellation fees on monthly subscriptions. There is also no way to terminate a subscription at a specific date. They want you to forget about it so that you get charged for the repeating payments.
There is no way to change to an annual subscription online. You have to contact customer support. This in and of itself has been a challenge, as they are not readily available or all that helpful in this regard. Just be persistent.
I will do anything to avoid Adobe's products in the future because of their payment policies. Great software, lousy company.”
“Stay away from Adobe. While the products are OK. Their billing system is unethical. It is made purposely confusing to rope people into a very high cost annual plan. Beware. Read all the fine print. Company is shady.”
“Disastrous Experience with Adobe: Money-Grabbers!
My recent encounter with Adobe has left me seething with anger and frustration. They brazenly snatched £68.99 from my account without a shred of explanation or justification. When I demanded a refund for this unjustified charge, their customer service representatives were about as helpful as a broken compass. They callously refused to provide a refund, leaving me feeling robbed and cheated.
But this incident is just the tip of the iceberg. I've been hemorrhaging money to Adobe for far too long. Their entire business model seems to revolve around bleeding their customers dry at every opportunity. Want to access basic features? Pay up. Want to download an essential application? Pay up. It's like navigating a labyrinth of scams and money pits.
I've had it with Adobe's predatory practices. I've canceled all payments to them and have sworn off their products indefinitely. I'm making the switch to alternative software providers, where I hope to find transparency and respect for customers. At least with other companies, I won't constantly feel like I'm being taken advantage of.
In summary, stay far away from Adobe unless you enjoy being treated like a walking ATM. Spare yourself the headache and seek out companies that prioritize customer satisfaction over squeezing every last penny from their patrons. Adobe, consider this the end of our relationship. You've lost a customer for life. Shame on you.”
“Free trial turned into an annual subscription without my knowledge, after a year of paying £15 a month for a product I don't use I tried to cancel today to find out they have put me into another annual plan and when I explained that financially I just can't afford this they tried to lure me into starting a different annual plan which would have restarted the term and the overall cost would have been more than the cancellation charge on the current plan. The whole model is designed to trap people into plans they don't need and the customer service is awful.”
“probably the worst customer support of my life: to cancel a favorable contract they prevented me from updating my payment details. in this way I was stuck without any application (which I use for work) and without the possibility of solving the problem. the most incredible thing is that the agents in charge of assisting me made me go from agent to agent for hours, and when I described my problem they gave me obvious and coarse answers. The classic was: wait for Monday and call the bank, they've definitely blocked transactions to us. Some have even disconnected in order not to help me. Obviously, the bank had nothing to do with it as not even payments from paypal were authorized. In the end they made me waste useful time (3 hours), days of work and mental energy. probably in these cases there is nothing left to do but get the cracked versions, certainly easier”
“Adobe has excellent products and I use one of them every day. The problem is that the software can be buggy and they are slow to fix. Also, their technical support is about the worst I have encountered. Please, can we have support agents where English is their first language?”
