Constant lies about when an engineer is going to be here. Obviously don't give a fig about being honest or giving truthful customer service.

If you are trying to install a new system then they will get back to you, if not forget it. The marketing states that engineers available 24/7- 365 days. Trying to get a engineer for 8 weeks for a fault on the system but no joy. Looking to change company as have lost will to live. Look at reviews from other security companies - much better and cheaper.

My alarm has now been going off for 2 hours in error - I am in my house and definitely no intruder . Called the service desk - said I would get an urgent call back but have still heard nothing. Impossible for me to stay at the premises any longer as noise excruciating. Do not touch this company

DO NOT BUY THIS!!! I was with them for over 4+ years. Had a panel issue at the start of Feb 2024. In the space of 27 days, I had 6 engineers booked in (as of which they all cancelled last minute with no explanation, and I only realised because I had to call the company). After weeks of back and forth, I decided to shut my account. I was emailed on the 27th Feb and told my account would be shut down and a refund of Feb would be given to me. We are now on the 19th March, and no refund has been provided. The alarm system started to make beeping noises today (after my contract has already ended). I called and asked if there was a way to stop this from happening. I was simply told that because I no longer pay for a contract, it wasn't their problem and I had to contact a different electrician in the area. Needless to say, the panel had been dismantled. Do NOT touch this company.

Absolute useless company, was transferred from Protect my property, without choice I might add. Phoned them numerous times cause they cant even get information correct and been kept on hold for over an hour to talk to someone. I hope your quicker at answering alarms

The first time the engineer came, he didn't even install the equipment properly. My shop is very small, so it's only an hour's job. However, the engineer spent the whole day on the phone outside the shop and kept on delaying the installation of this equipment. As I said, he didn't even install anything properly, despite the fact that he spent the whole day doing this. The control panel was incredibly difficult to access and the system hasn't even worked properly since the first day, with also the sensor dropping from the fitting. I reported this to ADT and, without my consent and without even asking me, ADT sent an engineer to my shop, not even informing me that this appointment was chargeable. If I knew this appointment would have been chargeable, I wouldn't have accepted this. This engineer was only in the shop for 5 minutes (not 44 minutes as stated in the attachment), so how is it justified that I am charged £883 for this? If you don't reverse this charge, I will cancel this contract with immediate effect, cancel my domestic ADT contract and remove all ADT devices from my premises. This is completely unacceptable and I am angered by this, so please sort this out. Note: I was supposed to take the contract for my shop at the end of January 2024, but your sales rep pushed me to sign in December, telling me the prices were rapidly going up.

Literally the worst customer service ever. I have waited months for an engineer visit to come and fix my doorbell and despite all sorts of cancellations, confusions about when they were scheduled to visit, which number they were supposed to call, a complete lack of communication about appointments by emails or texts, I am still waiting for a new doorbell to arrive despite repeatedly making myself available to stay home to collect the delivery! I had hoped to give 0 stars!

BEWARE!!!!! Please choose another company PLEASE!!!! I wish I could give these cons a 0 star. They are really that bad, honestly. I was told I could transfer the contract to the new owner, in the event I sold the home. Well that's not the truth. Today, I mentioned I was selling the home. I was told I owed $1500 on the remainder of contract and $500 on equipment. I don't recall signing a 3 year contract, yet to have me pay for services I am not receiving is robbery. I then asked if I could transfer the services to the new owner since I'm being forced to pay $1500 for services I am not going to be receiving. I was told NO, the transfer can only take place in the case of a dead spouse! So, basically they are wanting the new owners to sign a new 3 year contact. This should be outlawed. I am planning to warn the new owners about ADT and recommend that they use another company. These people are unscrupulous cons. I will NEVER EVER use them again, mark my word.

No organisation between departments, booking appointments do not turn up other departments do not know, lies after lies, charge without full service, worse company ever do not used

We were transferred from Protect My Property so had no choice but to join ADT. So far, I've had three cancellations on the trot where Engineers are delayed or off sick. On all occasions, I've had to call ADT to find out where the engineer is -- they never call to update you. I need my alarm fixed and without the repair it won't work so all that time I am exposing my property to a risk of burglary etc. Really bad company

APPALLING COMPANY - DO NOT USE. I waited in for an appointment (9.00 - 5.00) - no one turned up, no one rang. Over 4 days I have rung 5 times, always promised a call back - nothing. No explanation, no apology, no new appointment

I got Mis sold two alarm systems by a rep who has been sacked of which I have had numerous issues but the guys have been more than helpful. How ever moving premises and the attitude of the office and the rep is that I don’t own anything and want to charge extortionate rates for a few hours work. So unhelpful

I’ve been a customer for 3 years - my CCTV and alarm system have never worked properly. Every time an engineer is booked they do not show up. I paid for a service they do not provide - I complained and never got a response.

Service engineer booked for today, but no confirmation of time of arrival! Have been on the phone for 40mins and I am still no.3 in queue. Guess what “experiencing a high level of Queues, and raucous repetitive music blaring in my ears, yet again! How on earth does this business survive. Anybody able to recommend an alternative please?

ADT is a horror show. When our alarm went off while we were on holiday, the police were not contacted and our housekeeper was unable to get an engineer to come and reset it. We had repeated promises to come but ADT never arrived at all. We pay yearly for maintenance and a line connecting us to the police. They are obtaining a considerable amount of money under completely false pretenses.

After 3.5 months, numerous emails and phone calls (waiting 40mins -over 1hr) I decided to raise a Bank Dispute. ADT had two different names on my invoice so the refund bounced back and forwards to my bank account. Wonder of wonders today I received the refund.

Appalling customer service which was never so bad +12 months ago. You can’t speak to anyone except call takers who send internal emails to faceless teams. There is no flexibility on appointment dates and no possibility to speak to anyone directly. No one calls back. Even their call back system to save your place in the virtual queue does not work. ADT still happily take my money every month but clearly they are not in the business of providing any service unless they can sell you a new system.

Cameras fit wrong places blind,charged 600 extra Camera and refit.two weeks late broken, 6 mounth later reset partners passwords lost all mine, 2 3 weeks each time, don't show up,call back, I think this time I need some sort of refund, or will be taking then to court.

I reported a communications fault with the Smart system on Friday to say the system wasn't connecting to their monitoring centre, the earliest appointment I was given was for the following Friday in the morning. The engineer never arrived and despite several calls I found out he had gone home. I re-booked for the Monday morning and the engineer didn't turn up. ADT do not have the common decency to call to advise, they don't return calls, they leave messages with their engineers because they don't answer the phone and the engineer doesn't call to give an update. ADT customer service is appalling.
