the product I required was out of stock,AG, found me an alternative that was quite superb,all good then. The product was dispatched via Royal Mail but did not arrive for over a week which was very disappointing as I had paid for premium delivery.ThePostgirl could tell me that my package had been hanging around the delivery office for several days and was somewhat apologetic. Definitely not good enough Royal Mail.

My purchase never arrived. It was dispatched but Royal Mail does not work. I would have preferred to pay a bit more and have it delivered by another company. Having said this AG Woodcare have always helped me and I still have to let them know that my order has not arrived , ordered 2 weeks ago, they should stop using Royal Mail

Hi Christine, Unfortunately things do sometimes go missing or are majorly delayed with Royal Mail, which is out of our control. I am using the product to add a harder wearing finish to a.n already high gloss (liquitex) varnish on a walnut car dashboard. The liquitex goes on smoothly and leaves a mirror finish, but this lacquer does not settle so leaves brush marks. I tried it with a foam applicator that I used with the Liquitex but the finish is very poor. It might be great for less important applications but is utterly useless for an ultra high gloss and most importantly an ultra smooth/fine finish. I am going to try a spray lacquer or just leave the finish i already have. So pleased i tried it on a spare section first!

I am not sure the product has arrived yet? It should have been next day from what I remember but I left to come abroad 4 days later without it unfortunately so the reason I ordered it is no longer needed. I am sure if it has turned up I will use it on another project and then I will give you a review then, For now while I am away without It I will not review it.

I’ve ordered from AG many times in the past but this order was badly handled. 7 days after receding an AG email informing me that the item had been despatched I emailed AG as I still had not received the item. 24 hours later I had not had a reply and so I telephoned. I was told that they did have my email but from the conversation it appeared that it had been investigating. and despatched. Things do go wrong after the product has left the warehouse and I have no problem with that. However I was informed that it may have been marked as despatched as there was no tracking information. The AG chap said he would investigate. I heard nothing else so I phoned again either the next day or the day after to be told that the item would be with me later that day. Sure enough it arrived. So happy me. I will order from AG again but better communication would be helpful once a problem has been discovered.

Thanks for the review Tony, we value your feedback. We actioned your email right away and sent the goods, which were still on target to reach you within the 2-5 working day period. However it was the carrier that let us both down this time, and therefore caused the parcel to arrive a day later than the 2-5 working day time frame. As a gesture of goodwill we will offer you a 5% discount on your next order, if you phone it through we will be more than happy to help you. Don’t know yet. Invoiced and dispatched on 18th November, with a 2-3 days delivery, still nothing received. Despite this I’ve had several requests to review, which just serves to annoy.

Sorry I can't write a review at the moment as I have not received the goods. It says 2-3 working days. I ordered it on the 26/12/2019 it is now the 06/01/2020. I accept this was ordered over the Christmas period. May be there was a message saying when my ordered would be completed as it was Christmas. But i may have missed this.

I ordered and purchased wood preserver from AG Woodcare and was initially very impressed, the order was processed efficiently and the product arrived a few days before the scheduled arrival timetime. However, once I had unpacked it, I found that the product had a manufacturer applied expiry date on it and that it had expired about 2 weeks prior to the date on which it had been dispatched to me. I have returned it and requested a full refund - waiting to see how this all ends.

Thanks for your review. We have now refunded your goods and we apologize for the product getting to you very slightly out of date. We have discussed this with the Manufacturers, and the expiry date on the product is only a guideline and the product should be fit for purpose for a approx. a month after the expiry date given. Everything is being done here to prevent this from happening again.

I haven't opened or used the product but was very disappointed at the size of the tin for its price. Very expensive! I looked around online and found out there are better and cheaper products than what I bought off you. I just hope it is the right and a good quality hard wax oil I need.

As a customer, it is your duty to select the size of tin you order. However we only supply the highest quality hard wax oils on the market. Do not be fooled by 'lesser' brands calling their products 'hard wax oil' when in fact they are water based!

The delivery arrived promptly and service was fine. But when my product arrived it was in a plastic bottle (not a metal bottle as pictured online). I had specifically ordered it after quite a bit of searching online because it was pictured in a metal container, and had been advised to keep the product in metal, as there is a risk of self-combustion. I'm also trying to reduce my plastic consumption. A bit disappointing but the product itself seems good.

Hi, My rating of poor is due to the paint I received being sent on its side in a box which meant it was leaking when I opened it. I sent you an email yesterday to suggest that in future you should send the paint upright in a box and clearly labelled ' Fragile.' I'm sure the paint will be excellent when I use it.

Product arrived on time and prompt. Outer package and internal bubble wrap fine. But tin had a large dent in it and instructions attached to tin were ripped. Sellotape used to try and stick product information back in the correct place. Not wholly successful. Difficult not to conclude that we had been sent a damaged tin! Hoping that the contents prove more successful on our wood Windows and door! Mrs Avery, Somerset.

Delivered quickly but wrong treatment arrived with order. Phoned 3 times, yet to speak to someone as has always gone to answer phone. We have left 2 messages requesting callback in order to get correct product sent out but no-one has yet got back in touch.
