About AKRacing Australia:

AKRacing has come a long way since their inception in 2001, where their focus was solely on the production of race car seats. The AKRacing brand was previously known as AK Seat. Fast forward to 2008 and AKRacing now specializes in producing premium and ergonomic gaming and office chairs and equipment.

The AKRacing brand was introduced into the Australian market back in 2015, where they continue to operate out of the leafy green suburb of Kirrawee. AKRacing now has distributors all over the world - America, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Tahiti and Europe, just to name a few.

Something that sets AKRacing apart from their competitors is that they do 100% of their own designs, R&D, product development, testing and quality control. AKRacing highly guarantee their products, as they manufacture every single part, which means that they do not have to source these components from other suppliers, allowing them to ensure the quality is always consistent.

Currently AKRacing Australia offers their chairs in 3 different materials, which feature across 9 different chair series, boasting an impressive range of over 45 different chairs in total.

“Chair is fine except for a slight issue where sitting in the chair makes it feel like the left side is sunk a little and uneven”

“The chair was comfy, but at the price I paid I would've expected the chair to last longer. $500 chair to last less than 4 years. It was average, the comfort of the chair was nice, the strength was average but I might as well by a better chair with proven quality like secret labs. I do appreciate the chair but in terms of life. Paying more than $100 per year isn't that great”

“Very very fast service however the delivery driver left the 28 kilo box at the bottom of the drive way for my father who is in a wheelchair to take up the driveway to the house”

“I recently got the california series one in white and used afterpay which is great way to pay off a chair in 4 installments. Anyway i think i've had the chair maybe a month or 2 and don't really see much difference from my last one, My other one was to big and as this was the small range they come out with i thought it might help my back pain and such but it hasn't really i find myself having to move around alot of the time still also the lumbar cushion pushes to far out so your not fully in the chair i find also i think the arm rests should be more inwards just a bit especially for a small person i also would of liked it in fabric as the leather gets hot easily, it's pretty basic but i wish it would of had a bit better support and also lumbar cushion is to thick, Which is a shame unfortunately. But i like they do afterpay as thats easy and it's okay for the price but probably would charge a little less as i don't think this one is worth as much as they are charging is all.”

“The chair is good but the courier they used was horrible. They didn't even bother delivering to my house so had to drive ages to pick it up, and they didn't even help me take it back to my car!”

“Shipping was prompt and item mostly as expected.. However I consider it quite poor form to wait until after we have received the item to inform us that we would have to pay for any shipping in the event of a warranty claim (this is printed on the packing slip and no where else. Having a real tough time figuring out what's so difficult about putting that on their website.”

“Not as comfortable as I expected, probs wont buy again or recommend. Also no idea how to make the neck high cushion thing useful other than by cutting the strap and knotting it through the holes in the chair.... Other than that pretty darn good quality.”

“The chair is great but unfortunately i had to bump down the rating because the gas lift chamber failed really early on and not many things are more annoying than a sinking chair :( if not for this i would of happily rated 5 stars”

“Chair is good for posture and the design is nice, however the armrests are poorly designed as they do not come up anywhere near high enough and have already started ripping after 1 year of use. The polyurethane leather seems to be holding up alright and stays looking clean. The chair could have been a little less wide as you can move your body side-to-side quite alot and it would have been more comfortable if it hugged your body more.”

“Unfortunately I had the frame of mine break at one of the welded joints. obviously I was annoyed about it at the time, but after following up with them I have found that they have a 5 year warranty on the frames and are replacing it for me.”

“After having the chair for about 12 months, Its not really that comfortable, never was really. The tilt mechanism doesn't seem to work, unscrewing the tension release screw doesn't seem to do anything. I bought the gaming chair on a whim, will be replacing it soon with an ergonomic office chair.”
