Amazing Generators - BEWARE. Phone numbers or email addresses are not legitimate. Amazing Generator conducts unfair, deceptive and fraudulent business practices. They do not refund your monies after receiving return merchandise. After I bought a portable generator online, they cancelled the order a week later without refunding monies. They do not reply to emails, phone calls or letters documenting the events. They have had every opportunity to reply appropriately and failed. CEO and founder Youssef Nasser of San Diego area will not reply to communications regarding the activities of the company. Do not buy from them. There are many other legitimate companies that sell the same products.

Ordered a power washer and was delivered the wrong model. The wrong model was shipped back the day after I received it. It was explained to me that they didn't have my model and would need to refund back to my credit card. It was promised in 48 hrs and now waiting over 15 days for my credit. Contacted them by phone and email and they now stopped all communication with me. Now I am working with my CC company and soon to be contacting my states Attorneys Generals office. This is obviously a fake company that throws the name Amazon around so you think they are affiliated, but they are not. Stay away from this company. Jim D.

Horrible Customer Service- delivered previously shipped generator badly damaged took a week to get return shipping label and then after returning generator still no refund. Called Champion Generators and they confirmed Amazing Generators ARE NOT AUTHORIZED RESELLERS as they state clearly on web site. Working with CC to get refund. They used Amazon Fulfillment but Amazon seems to know nothing about them. Phone numbers are now changed and are co-mingled with open box electric. Now no one answers the phone during working hours.

Check out what they list as their corporate address...google 864 Grand Avenue, San Diego CA...it's a rented mailbox from Beach Mailbox & Gifts! https://www.beachmailbox.com/ The other two "warehouse" locations they list appear to be bogus as well. Recommend you do your own due diligence prior to doing business with this company.

Hard for me to believe that this company has a 78% recommendation percentage unless they're writing their own reviews or paying someone to write them. I ordered a new Briggs & Stratton generator and received a used generator that they had drop shipped from some other supplier. Do these people stock anything or just have an impressive "smoke & mirrors" website? After the hassles of having to return t to their supplier over 2 weeks ago, I'm still waiting for a refund. I have been forced to file a dispute with my CC provider. Do business with them at your own peril.

Rob H could not have said it any better... the only reason I gave 1 star is cause it makes me click on it to write a review... this company deserves 0 stars and it might as well be shut down based on customer service... Usef, maybe you should call people back after sending a text message 11 days later that you canceled the order with no explanation ... maybe Jess, you should train your customer service people a hell of a lot better to not say Usef will call them back 6 times... Not sure who owns this place, but you should change your name to USELESS GENERATORS... and I will also pass the word along to never go through this company... just got a way better deal elsewhere... hey owner, if you care, you just lost out on thousands of dollars in sales because of that customer service train wreck

Thank God I never went through with buying a generator from this company! I have made repeated calls (6 times)for simple questions to be answered, only to have nobody call back. There have been notes on my phone number saying “Urgent” and “customer not happy with experience” and get complete silence. Customer Service is atrocious and I can’t imagine if I had a problem with a generator I bought the frustration I would feel. I finally drove to their San Diego “warehouse” and is just a PO Box. This is a scam and should be avoided at all costs. If I could give less that one star, I would.

The terrible customer service with this company, seems to be a trend with them. I also purchased a Champion Generator from them. I spent $850 on a 3100, and there was no mention that it was a REBUILT, other than a RB, after the mention of the brand..How the hell are you sup3to know what RB means..? I have contacted my attorney, and will persue to get all of my money back, as it never worked at all. Really crappy way it was shipped, as well. Poorly wrapped in bubble wrap and it had oil everywhere. Definitely not a professional job of shipping the thing. Had to replace the cheap spark plugs cause they were so dirty and covered in oil. Finally got it running, and it ran for 3 hours and never charged a thing. 3 calls to them and a few emails, and still no response. Going to call them today and inform them that if I don't get a response by the end of the week, my ATTORNEY WILL BE IN TOUCH with them..Terrible experience with this company..

Worst experience ever! Bought a pressure cleaner for $879.99. It arrived damaged and missing parts. Took pictures and contacted them. Can only leave a phone message which has NEVER been returned. Contact via email is sporadic at best. It has been more than 2 months and they have not resolved the problem. Claim it is important to them and that they never have problems with PayPal. Claim they can not process a refund and have not sent the missing parts. I have requested return of item. You have to wait via email for them to send you the address. They have not. 2 months later- they have my money and I have a pressure washer that is damaged and not usable as it is missing parts. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND DONT GIVE YOU THE PRODUCT!! THEY WONT GIVE REFUND OR FIX THE PROBLEM!

Terrible overall, does not care about your side of the story. Takes your hard earned money for a delivery that never arrived, does not matter if you want proof. Used Google Photos for “images” and “proof” that they were at a location. Apparently the door tag does not matter since they are always right. Never again am I ordering from this site again, customer service is so rude. Never call a customer a lair and tell them to shut up, that is bad for business and if that’s how you handle your business they you should not be around as a company.

Generator arrived and would not start unless you "tapped" on solenoid. Would only run on full choke. Once under load of 13.5 A/C ONLY, gen breaker would trip. After being told from "amazing" that it was a duromax product and they couldn't/wouldn't help me, Duro max was adamant that we didn't know how to run the generator. THREE weeks after I shipped it back and called numerous times to get no where, they finally refunded my purchase. Never again....

I ordered I generator. I asked if it was in stock. Was told it was. Asked if it was being sent from the manufacturer because they were out of stock or was it in stock on their Shelf. They promised it was in stock on their Shelf. They took my money over $1,000. Two days later sent an email saying they would refund my money because it was not in stock. Have not seen the refund. Have left numerous messages with no return call. I needed this generator for a camping trip and explained the time frame when I place the order. Now I don't have time to order another generator for my camping trip. Nor do I have the money back from them.

Placed an order 4 days ago. Called customer service to inquire about ship time. The CSR's i spoke with stated that someone would be calling me. So far no call or email regarding my order. They take your money but service is poor.

I just had a pretty horrible customer service response to an error on their part. I ordered a unit that was supposed to be in stock. I was notified a week later that my order was cancelled at my request. It was not. I try reaching them on the phone and was told I would get a response from a supervisor. I did not. It took several emails on my part to finally get a call back. Joseph Nass called me back and explained that the issue was an inventory issue and it was not available. He offered me $10 off (which didn't match the $30 off offered on email.) I appreciated the offer, but unfortunately that's not a remedy. I am going to have to spend more than probably $30-40 plus time to rent a unit now and return it. I kept trying to work it out, I kind of felt bad because he was stressing out, but he is supposed to be a professional and was not handling the customer service portion of the transaction. His best price was not even matching the best price I could have gotten at the time of my initial purchase and that's not even factoring my loss for renting a pressure washer. I was so pleased I had found this company, or so I thought. I wanted to like them because of their business practices (shipping generators to Puerto Rico and Hiring veterans.) I'd be ok with taking a loss to support a company like that and pay more, if the customer service matched the business practices. It did not. I am very disappointed. I was honestly recommending the company after my purchase. I have to update that and not recommend them.

I ordered a Duramax XP15000EH from amazing generators and received it within 10 days. I waited until the weekend to add the oil and propane to the unit and proceed to start. The generator fired right up and I let it run for 15 min before adding a load to test the power. I plugged in a drill and then a portable A/C unit with absolutely no results. I reread the operating instructions and tried resetting the breakers to no avail. Next I called amazing generators and sat on hold for 15 minutes until I spoke with the receptionist and she took my information and told me I’d get a call back. I called back an hour and a half later talked to the same girl and still never heard a word back. Called back 6 hours later and was told even though they are open 24/7 don’t expect to hear from anyone until they have someone available. Unreal! Tomorrow this unit is going back to amazing generators and I’ll take my business elsewhere

You sell me a generator, take my money, then cancel the order and tell me I cancelled it, then I have to call repeatedly to get my money back. Thank god I had paypal on my side or I would probably still be trying to my money back.

The generator was delivered broken and Amazing Generators did not helped me at all, claiming I reported the damage more than 30 days after purchase. I did not tried to star this generator right away so I could not see a bolt holding the end housing had broken.
