“It took a lot longer to arrive than suggested. One of the parts was out of stock and I was contacted by someone who tried to upsell me to a more expensive part. When I asked if they were willing to cover the extra cost (less than 2% of the overall price) as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience of taking my order knowing they would be unable to fulfil it the request was refused.
When the item did finally arrive it wasn't built properly. A memory chip loose in the box, CPU fan loose and GPU support not fitted properly.
This was not a courier issue, this left A_B not properly QC'd. Fortunately we have the skills to put it right and it tested fine and because the project we bought we for is desperately behind schedule we decided to keep it.”
“Reasonable price and easy configuration of the machine's initial specification online. However, sometime after the order had been accepted, and before it was built, there was a complication because some of the parts went out of stock and the machine had to be reconfigured. Unfortunately, this meant the machine went up in price because of the need to configure with more expensive components. This complicated the overall purchase experience as the PC was being paid for through a Company Purchase Order. I then had to ring up AMERICANBUILDS to sort out the changes and payment process.”
“There was a few issues, this included before receiving the product and receiving the product. It took much longer than I expected to receive the PC but in the end it did arrive with no issue. When I received PC and started using it, there was many issues, and even now there are still a few issues that I still don’t know whether they are hardware problems or problems I can resolve myself – but I do want to say that every fault I’ve encountered I’ve sorted out, but I still have new issues every day. But the main reason why I’ve gave three stars and not higher is due to the support I receive, which isn’t as good as it should be.”
“Ordered custom built PC took two weeks from order to dispatch which I expected. Delivery was excellent.
Started system and I couldn't load Candy Crush from Microsoft store.

In fact I cannot download anything from Microsoft store.
Not a good start for a new PC costing over $2600.”
“I think customers are left in the dark in regards to the progress of their PC- it was after 21 days that i heard any update and that was due to it being finally in the test phase.
other than that the pc is great, albeit i might be using the troubleshoot since im not too sure where its going wrong. only crashing once on me”
“Unfortunately, I was thoroughly unsatisfied with the whole process of buying Antminer L9 from American Builds. The delivery was extremely slow, the payment process was fraught with problems, and customer service didn't respond to my inquiries in a timely fashion. I don't recommend anyone use this online store as they are unreliable and unhelpful when it comes to customer service.”
“Took longer to dispatch and when I phoned up the guy said would be with me on a certain day booked day off work didn't show took another 3 working days. Got a problem with PSU unfortunately still got it and trying to sort it. Think it's worth just building your own atleast you know parts are brand new and warrantys.”
