“From 1991 when I borrowed £10.000 from a bank, to see my son through university, I was working and could afford the repayments, little did I know that at Christmas the same year, I would be made redundant, I paniked, didn't tell anyone not even the bank, by October 2013, I owed the bank £16,000 I got a phone call from a firm in manchester, told them everything, and was told about an IVA, where I paid an amount each month, I could afford the amount even on a pension, I was contacted by Grant Thornton, who I agreed the amount and the IVA, now I am finishing off my IVA with pasture, and by May 2017, I will have paid off my debt and I am so pleased with how i have paid for five years and now i'm nearly there, take the step, debt is a horrible situation to be in, IVA let's you see the light at the end of the tunnel, thank you pasture I am a 100% grateful for your understanding and to my creditors that let me do this IVA and give me peace of mind”

“I don't know where I would have been today without the help of Aperture to solve my debt problems, most probably still in debt and worrying myself sick. I thought I would never be debt free. I can't thank Aperture enough, they have been very understanding and non judgemental. I would highly recommend Aperture to anyone with debt problems Aperture helped me to become debt free and they could help you too. A big thank you Aperture you have been fantastic.”

“All the staff are very easy to talk to they don't talk down to you like well you shouldn't get to this mess they just help sort it all out and get rid of the pressure of all the debt into one payment each month and make sure you can live on the wage and pay enough the creditors that their happy as they get something instead of bankrup and getting nothing.”

“I'm not sure where to start without sounding insincere. Aperture were fantastic from start to finish. I have use words like "peace of mind" and "freedom from debt" because that is precisely how I felt when they took me on as a client and subsequently "put me forward" for a loan to finally deal with the "putting to bed" process. It has been a seamless journey, one which to begin with seemed quite daunting. I'm very grateful for the chance of the loan and the chance to improve my credit rating. Thank you.”

“Like many other people I got myself into some credit card debt and could not meet the monthly payments which meant I occurred financial fines. I was sick with worry and my debt was rising and affecting me mentally and socially.Thankfuly I heard about APERTURE and their IVA scheme. I contacted them and talked with some very helpful ,non judgemental staff who contacted my creditors and worked with them to secure a monthly payment that I could afford over a period of time. Aperture has now helped me to clear all my debts and I have a life again.”

“When we got into difficulty paying our debts we contacted the citizens advice bureau who put us in touch with Grant Thornton who are now Aperture. They did not judge us and reassured us that they could help and they would take all the worry and pressure away from us. They were in constant contact with us from the word go and have enabled us to get on with our lives and have taken away the sleepless nights and worry we were having every day. We will always be grateful for what they have done for us and at the end of the process to be debt free will be like an enormous weight lifted from us both. I only wish that we had taken steps to contact them earlier instead of burying our heads in the sands and thinking we could deal with our problems ourselves. Thankyou”

“The impact of the debt that myself and my wife was in had been affecting our relationship. We seemed to be arguing a lot and at the time it felt like we were going to work and didn't see any of the money because were paying so much out every month. We couldn't afford to do much with our two children as we didn't have any disposable income. It was a very hard, difficult period of time. It seemed like all out time was consumed with worry thinking of ways of trying to pay off our debt. We realised that we couldn't go on like we were and made a decision to do something about it. We made an appointment to see somebody from The Citizens Advice Bureau. The gave us 3 options to look at and one of the options was go into an IVA. They helped us book an appointment with a representative, who visited us at our home. The person who visited was very friendly and helpful. She explained to us about the process and what we needed to do. We agreed to go ahead with the IVA. Together a repayment plan was agreed and this lowered our previous multiple repayments to a singular more affordable payment. They also helped us to reclaim some money from PPI and accounts charges that shouldn't of occurred. Were nearly at the end of our IVA and couldn't be happier. It has given us back our life. It has helped us to manage our money and budget better. I can't thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone.”

“I am nearly at the end of my IVA just another year to go, the service I have received from everyone involved as been first rate. When you realise you have so much debt you feel embarrassed and hopless, the team I have been involved with always treated me with empathy and understanding. The day I contacted them was the best thing I could have done. I would highly recommend Aperture.”

“It was the best thing I ever did. Stopped all the harassing phone calls. Dealt with everything. It was like a huge cloud was lifted off my shoulders. “Like many people we were in a situation where we were borrowing from one place to pay another and then we had a bigger loan to pay the smaller ones to give ourselves time to breath and so on. Unfortunately the bigger picture is bigger debts and more pressure and worry. We made the brave decision to start an IVA. I say brave because it is a huge step of faith and on paper it becomes more official when the 'Professionals' get involved. That was the 100% turning point in our lives. I wish we had taken this route sooner because the release of stress and the prospect of eventually being debt free was truly amazing. Everybody we spoke to wanted to help, by phone, letter or email the support was fantastic. We are one month away from having just one more year till we finish and we are so excited. It sounds as though we are trying to sell a product but actually if we can give someone the belief to take that first step then it is what it is. Our money is still tight, but we, with the help of Aperture, are in control of our lives and more importantly our finances. Finally we would just like to say we have lost that feeling of being ashamed and actually feel proud of what we have achieved so far. We have got our life back and it scares us to think where we would be now, if we had not had the courage to start our IVA. Seriously it felt like we had won the lottery because we could laugh again and enjoy our life.”

“Aperture very quickly got matters sorted and put my mind at rest when everything seemed totally out of control. If you are struggling witth debt problems you really should ring them asap. The longer you leave it the worse it will get. With their help you will regain control of your life.”

“My partner and I were struggling to pay our debts for a couple of years but we're getting nowhere .It was getting to the stage we were dreading the postman coming up the path the phone ringing as we just new it would be somebody looking for money My father even paid off some of my debt to ease the pressure and we are paying him back monthly but at a price we can afford Even with the help it was still hard to manage our debts .At that point I made the most important phone call of my life Aperture changed my life they consolidated all out debts into one affordable monthly payment and they deal directly with your creditor's No more letters or phone calls from your creditors looking for money At last we can see a brighter future for us with thanks to Aperture for arranging our IVA”
