Had a garbled answerphone message left 2 days before chosen delivery date stating my Fridge Freezer could be delivered Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (no date specified). I had already specified Friday 15th December so thought strange. I called Appliance City who said they would contact the delivery team as they could see I had specified Friday 15th December on my order. I never heard back from them so thought the delivery was going ahead as specified. I called Appliance City today to confirm the Fridge Freezer was still going to be delivered today only to be told no it would be next Wednesday Thursday or Friday. All dates I will be at work and unavailable to take delivery. Had to cancel order. Absolutely terrible service, I do not recommend this company. Beware if you order from them, you are not likely to get your item delivered when it should be deliver.

I placed an order for an ‘in stock’ washing machine and tumble dryer on the 24th November. I selected a delivery date of the 28th November on your website for which I arranged with my work to be at home to accept the delivery. Your distribution agent CDS failed to deliver on this date. I spoke with Nick at Appliance City on the 28th and he advised there had been a problem, which I had not been advised about. Following a chase up from myself, Nick arranged that that items would be delivered the next day (29th). I received a text that evening from CDS confirming a timeslot of 08:30-12:30. Again I arranged time off work to be able to accept the delivery. CDS again failed to deliver. I waited until 12:30 and no delivery was made. I called CDS and they advised they were unable to deliver. They offered to deliver the next day (30th), but were unable to agree to an afternoon delivery, so I could not accept that date. We agreed for the items to be delivered on the 2nd December. I called and left a message for Nick to advise him of the situation. I chased this message later in the day as I had no response. When I spoke to Nick, he advised he had spoken to CDS and confirmed delivery for the 2nd. He also noted other customers had experienced similar issues. On the 1st December I received a text at 17:45 advising CDS could again not deliver and that my items would be delivered on the 3rd December. I tried to call CDS, but the text was sent 15 minutes after they closed…Again I had made arrangements to be able to accept the delivery and it was too late to change my plans, therefore another day was wasted! I already had plans for the 3rd December, but decided to change these, for a fourth time in order to receive the delivery! Following three arrangements with my work to be available for delivery and sacrificing my own plans on a Saturday to accept the delivery I requested compensation from Appliance City. Following multiple chasers to Nick a terrible email from CDS and constantly being fobbed off, with "I will get back to you next week" I am left with no choice but to leave a poor review. Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Even when I escalated to the customer service team, I received no response.

Appalling customer service. The delivery drivers damaged my floor, did not advise me how to report it correctly and lied about floor covering not being provided. Appliance city then took no responsibility for this and have declined to pay for the damage.

Absolute disgusting company, customer service are so so rude, keep away at all costs, sold us faulty washing machine as it was 2 months old the wouldn’t replace, only repair major job been let down by repair man, still wont do anything, so please please pay that bit extra go to a reputable company, i wish i had

Absolutely shocking service and customer care. Ordered a fridge/freezer, made myself available for delivery, the driver however said the item was too tall for the door and could damage the floor if pushed in. Appliance city consider that to be a failed delivery and have charged £85 for it. I don’t have the item and I’ve just paid them £85!! The customer care person I spoke to was rude and condescending. Avoid!!

Waited for wine chiller delivery, arrived with shattered door. Have to wait a week before they collect and replace. No apology, don't try to accommodate.. Lack of customer service skills

AVIOD! Terrible experience, faulty item delivered just prior to lockdown. Item was unboxed and fault reported immediately to Appliance City who refused to accept the item back blaming COVID. Do not buy from this company if customer service is a key decision factor of your purchase.

Phoned me to say would arrive in 20mins I said I was taking disabled son to centre and would be back 30 to 40 mins he said he phone someone and phone me back I said just put it at back of house as it's a quite no though road he did not phone back I rushed home 31 mins texted him and phoned no reply phoned company kept waiting for ages to be told it was not going to be delivered when I asked for money back so could go buy one for my disabled son as his stopped working I was told I would have to wait days I will not use this company again if this is the support they give to there disabled customers

Product fine but delivery and customer service very poor. New floor damaged whist delivering, head office response just rude, obviously not wanting to accept liability. Shop with caution.

awful experience, do not use when they make a mistake they do nothing to put it right, just give refunds I ordered a Samsung fridge freezer 07/06/18 to be delivered 13/07/18 paid in full at time of ordering. I am disabled and having a new kitchen fitted as finding it difficult to manage in my old kitchen. I have no working fridge since 11/07/18 they phoned 12/07/18 to say they could not deliver my order until the end of the month as they had given my fridge freezer to someone else and did not have another in stock, would not deliver small fridge until they could supply my order and refused compensation even though they had broken there contract with me. just gave me a refund to get rid of me
