“We have previously had a Carri Chef 50 but found it slightly too big for just the two of us and so bought the new Carri Chef 40. Whilst it is obviously newer - we bought the CC50 three years ago - it is nevertheless a step change ahead of our previous CC50. The lid fits better, the clip to hold the lid as a wind break is a huge improvement and the legs are all the same making construction a little bit simpler. Furthermore, when all of the components are packed away in the bag, carrying it is very simple. I also really like the adjustable leg capabilityand the gas seating function on the utility shelf. Highly recommend.”

“I bought this fire because of the rise in gas and electric prices both myself and my wife are over 70 and using our existing fire|( log/coal burner ) was costing an average of 100 pounds during the coldest months we only have our pension to live off that is why we elected to go Calor.
