Shopify system automatically changed my address to a completely incorrect address - and then there system wouldn’t allow me to change it back to the correct one. Worst of all - you can’t speak to an actual person - only a bot so there is literally nothing that can be done.

I purchased an item via Shopify from a boutique called Lux life around June 2024, it’s is now October 2024 and I have NEVER received the product, what’s more, the boutique has refused to respond and now their website is no longer active. I have made multiple request through Shopify to assist me with retrieving a refund or the items and sadly have received absolutely no help from the Shopify team. This company Shopify should not be creating a platform for scammers so scam innocent consumers out of their money and once they are made aware of such scams taking place w on their platform, the should act with more urgency and care to resolve, or actually act with any at all, I will never use Shopify again and I hope this review will save others as well. Fraudulent company allowing fraudulent activity to take place on their platform.

I just had a bad encounter with this broker, resulting in a loss of $350,000. Despite my efforts to discover another option, I was unsuccessful. However, I am grateful to have come across lilo__grace__75_( @ )_gmail_._com ) who assisted me in recovering my funds. Their skill and passion were very impressive. Long payout times, app wouldn't function properly, difficult to set up, random hidden charges, nearly no customer service, impossible to integrate into my existing site.

Shopify is great until something goes wrong and their customer service is the worst I have ever seen, I even attempted to get the CEO to resolve our issue and he was just as disengaged as his customer service team. It's sad because in all other avenues Shopify is a great platform but in reality things go wrong and Shopify customer support and Management just don't take ownership of issues. It's so bad we cancelled our subscription and notified the customer support team on multiple occasions and all you get is the scripted " that's awesome" (they say this no matter what your issue is) and then completely fail to do what they said they would. Please don't invest time and money into the company until it's very poor customer service is resolved ( this would require an engaged CEO , which they don't have). If you want a great platform with lots of benefits who then let you down when it matters and then keep trying to take money from your bank account, then Shopify is for you. If you want a platform that resolves issues but doesn't have as many intergration tools but overal works well and resolves issues timely, then I would recommend EKM. Only recommended for the nacisstics amongst us

After spending 8 months building and refining my store on Shopify, with absolutely no warning and no consultation with myself they took down my store and locked me out of my account permanently. They stated that my store was too 'high risk' for Shopify to support. We are a fully incorporated and licensed online retailer for garage equipment... would hardly say that is high risk. Over the 8 months we were building the store my experience with Shopify's systems and their customer service was absolutely horrible. I have never encountered a business with so little care for their customers. AVOID SHOPIFY AT ALL COSTS. would give 0 stars if I could.

I woke up to multiple emails regarding an account that was started with my email. It was not me! The process of trying to figure it out has been a nightmare. There's no customer service phone number or email listed unless you actually start an account which I could not log into because the hackers already used my email with an authenticator app. Once I finally found a phone number to contact I've been on hold for 40 minutes and counting. What a joke. Buyers beware! I wouldn't shop or purchase anything on this app from the reviews I've read. It was clearly so easy for some asshole to start an online store with my email linking his name and cc to my email and I can't do anything to fix it so now he'll be scamming buyers by taking their money! I'm super frustrated that I've been unable to report this or resolve this matter.

I am in the same boat as everyone else here. Payouts went on hold late May with a message stating they need 1-2 days to review my account. Every week since then I have reached out to customer service via shopify.com, Twitter, and IG. I've been told my ticket will be escalated and I've also been told that I'd receive confirmation emails from their team, which as you can guess, none of which ever happened. If you do your due diligence on Reddit, Twitter, IG, FB, etc. you will find the same complaints everywhere. Though I am only running my Shopify store as a side-gig, there are thousands of small and large businesses that are relying on Shopify as a main stream of income that are left with no choice but to put their entire business on pause or even worse, terminate them as a whole due to this issue. On top of that, the blatant lies/lack of ability to solve any actual problems by their "extremely active" support team has been the most frustrating thing for me. I have used many different ecomm platforms and have been excited to open up my first Shopify store. Shopify by far has the most user-friendly platform with the most integrated features. I have also been a huge fan of their founder Harley and the innovation he has made with this company. However, this payment hold issue alone, the nightmare it has been to try and get any answers, and the thought that my money has quite possibly been stolen by the company is enough to make me never open up another Shopify store again and I would steer anyone trying to open an ecommerce store away from using them.

Very bad experience, was using Shopify since 2016 and zero customer service from the beginning, can’t get an anyone on the phone only through email and 99% are all A.I generated. This past week they shut my store saying I violated a policy and it’s been 1 Week and still don’t know the policy I violated, I only hit once generic response for them asking for all my bank, utility and stuff they have already, I’ve had a brick and mortar store for 35 years and they do this without a simple warning is very unprofessional, if I can give a 0 review I would , they are costing me a lot of money and losing very unhappy clients. The forms they asked for took me 2 minutes to get to them and if they had any business sense they could have emailed saying they need this and if you don’t comply we will shut you down. WHO SHUTS DOWN A LOCAL FAMILY COMMUNITY BUSINESS FOR NO WARNING OR REASON OPERATING SINCE 1989!! DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND

Opzich goede systeem voor beginners Ik voor dropshipping alleen 1 tip als je net begint met verkoop en dus je eigen geld er in legt en je hebt niet veel geld gebruik geen shopify payment Wand bij mijn heb ik maandag een bestelling ontvangen 29 april nu zal ik 3 mei vrijdag vandaag dus de uitbetaling ontvangen Echter zag ik niet dat de uitbetaling onderweg was dus ik heb contact opgenomen met shopify echter krijg ik van shopify we moeten het naar een team escaleren dus u moet nog even wachten Nou geen probleem normaal gesproken mocht het niet zo zijn dat omdat het de eerste verkoop was ik me kinderen had beloofd vandaag dus wat leuks te gaan doen met het geld om het een soort van te vieren Echter krijg ik het dus niet vandaag dus heb ik mijn kinderen moeten teleurstellen Paar uur later kreeg ik opeens de melding dat opeens me account in strijd met hun beleid en hebben ze me hele account gesloten en de betaling word gewoon even nog eens 120 dagen vast gehouden

Shopify has been very difficult for the money portion. Creating the site is easy but payouts are done very poorly. It’s almost as if they want it to be complicating so you chose to use their Shopify bank card. To long of wait times, I’ve sent out my orders and still haven’t seen a dime and no one to ask

Shopify after 1 year of us using them shut down the store claiming the theme we were using could be potential copyright. We used a free theme they supplied and customised it with new images and content nothing major. They then asked us to purchase a new theme simple WE LEFT. Steer clear complete scam on there part. rea other reviews on trust pilot.
