“It would have been a five star rating had it not been for a very disappointing product of "Mont Mart" laminated pallet that actually gets tinted by my acrylic paints that refuse to come off when I clean up after working on it. The acrylic paints that I used were "Matisse- structured" and "Atelier Interactive". I understand this pallet is a cheap and cheerful product that I have used since Art shed started in Melbourne but I never had this problem before the last purchase.”

Hi William, Thank you for your review. Sorry to hear that you had an issue with the laminated palette, it is unusual that it the experience has been different with your past purchases. We have a large range of different palettes, perhaps we can assist in selecting a different one for you next time, but staining should not affect the usefullness of the palette. “Great help. No complaints! For regional residents postage is a deterrent when ordering small items. How about appointing an agent in northern Victoria eg. Shepparton or Yarrawonga? Plenty of art but no supplier up here and framing is not catered for. I have made my own for many years as commercial framers are prohibitive. Monte Marte would earn painter’s gratitude with simple unpainted pine edging supplied with basic hanging clips (all pictures must be hung) I suggest limited sizes eg. 10x12 inches, 300x400cms.”

“I purchased mont marte premium oil pastels with Art Shed because their price point was the cheapest l found and on par with Mont Marte directly, however Art Sheds delivery cost was SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper by $17. So I purchased plastic palette knives so I could try impasto technique with the pastels. Items arrived within a few days and where packaged with great care. RESPECT Art Shed you rock!”
