On the website the number of true hues and metallics is listed in the description, but we understand this may have been missed. Your standard was almost up to scratch....got what I ordered in a timely manner 😀. UNFORTUNATELY by the time Australia Post delivered it the packaging had fallen apart and I was very fortunate that the goods inside were not damaged🥺.

The order arrived promptly, and the paint was good quality. However the oven baked clay was quite variable in texture. The yellow was very soft and sticky, which made it difficult to work. On the other hand, the white was so hard that some of it was just unusable - even with lots of kneading/conditioning and gentle warming, it did not become soft enough to shape effectively. Red was also very difficult to use.

Hi Lisa, We are grateful to you for providing this feedback, and it's great that you are happy with your paints and the delivery timeframe. Regarding the Polymer Clay. We have contacted our supplier to pass on your observations about the difference in consistency. Regarding the hardness of the Titanium White, it is possible that tiny amounts of air have caused it to dry very slowly making it unusable. Art Shed has been fantastic with their service from ordering any products, to any enquiries I may have. I love the quality of the products I have purchased. Sadly though, I will need to buy locally in the future as the postage is astranomical. Thank you Artshed for your effecient service.

Hi there, thank you for your review, we are so happy to hear you received great service from our team! We also appreciate the feedback about shipping prices. Delivery is calculated based on the dimensions, weight, and the distance the parcel is traveling from our store in Victoria. Australia Post has provided us with discounted rates, as we ship a large number of items. These rates are around 20-30% lower than what you would pay at the post office, and we charge what it costs us. With the rising costs of fuel and maintaining vehicles the rates have unfortunately been going up. Concerning my recent visit I'm happy with what I've purchased but would love a wider range of middle to higher end products, plus more variety in art tools, the larger silicone colour shapers do not seem to be available any more.

We like to include everything our suppliers offer, and as there are so many different suppliers this may not include the brands you are used to.

You don’t have a good range of Artilier acrylic paints , which is a shame because they are a good brand.

Delivery was fine but the projector for tracing is very difficult to focus and use. Not sure I would recommend that EZTracer.

We pick our online orders from our Moorabbin store, and occasionally there is a discrepancy in the stock levels. There are a number of reasons for this, sometimes it's theft in our store, inventory mix-ups with our supplier or technical problems. It's really unfortunate and we are always working on ways to reduce this occurance. I can assure you the item we didn't supply was refunded, and we sent you an email to let you know. Did a click and collect but had to wait a while to be served and felt a bit like i was not appreciated as a customer and they did not want me there. Everything was in stock and prices were ok but not the best available online.

As a small family business, we do our best to be competitive with our pricing across our entire range, and our prices are often actually lower than our larger competitors. Be wary of large online retailers who sell cheaply produced copies of famous name brands at very cheap prices. I wasn’t going to order again from Art Shed after my $500 worth of oil paints seemed less than good value if it I’d ordered them elsewhere or individually and might have included more basic colours like cad yellow (missing. ) However the light did arrive efficiently and works well. Although one foot piece screw is a bit dodgy as cannot be made firm the light still stands firmly enough wobbling not enough to be bothered returning. Surprisingly it was made in England not China. Think I’ll try to stick to made in Australia products in future.

The Art Spectrum oil colours are available to purchase individually, if you would like to add to your collection. Slightly disappointed in the amount of space and products available for Watercolor painting. Selection of paper, brushes, and paints somewhat limited. I was given a gift voucher for $500 and spent some of it on things I really didn’t want. Cheers

Next time you visit please ask a team member to assist you, as we have over 500 watercolour products from fourteen different brands and they are not all displayed in the same aisle. In the world of art there are many thousands of brands, and our range is determined by a number of different factors. The range is constantly being updated so keep an eye on our updates and newsletters for new product announcements.

I have always known Art Shed as that place in West End in Brisbane. So when my order was being sent from Melbourne and took a while to arrive I was a little dissapointed. I thought it would be quicker because of the locaiton.

There used to be stores around the country, more recently there is still a store in Brisbane, they have their own website and we are not connected. We are Art Shed Online, we have a store and warehouse operating out of Melbourne. I was happy to see your order arrived within a week, which is reasonable for a sale period.

It took over a week to be delivered even though I paid for express delivery. Then upon arrival the packaging was torn and there was a dint in the canvas - likely from poor handling even though it was labelled “fragile”.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience shopping with us. We were really disappointed to hear it, and it was not the outcome we hope for our customers. Luckily it doesn't happen very often, but occasionally canvases are damaged during transit. If you receive a damaged item from us, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will replace it or offer some other resolution for you. The time line of your order was four business days from ordering to delivery, which is bit longer than expected for Express Post, so we will arrange for a partial refund on delivery for you. We will contact you privately to resolve this issue for you, and also the steps on how to repair a dinted canvas, it's surprisingly easy!
