“They are light and easy to slip on/off for quick trips outside but I'm not used to backless clog style shoe so it is taking a bit of getting use to for me. I still find I'm using my old battered gardening shoes when I'm doing heavier work just because I feel more stable on my feet. I would prefer a shoe with a proper back when working at the back of the border or carrying a lot of material around.”

“The first style of backdoor shoes for me were a far better shape fitted perfectly than the next pair I had recently for my birthday. The size 4 were too big they were exchanged to a size 3 which were a bit better . Customer service was very good I was given 2 pairs of socks with the return size to cover the cost of postage.”

“My husband had a pair of backdoor shoes for several years, until they were worn out. The original shoes fit him perfectly (he has wide feet). Replacing them hasn't been straightforward as the original design has been tweeked and the shoes are now too tight. He followed the advice and bought a size too big and the left shoe fits fine. Again, he is following the advice and gradually trying warmth to mould the right shoe to his foot, as it is still too tight. It is improving, but will never be as good as the original design. It's a great shame to change something that was good.”

“Two previous purchases have been good but last one not. Left ‘clog’ squeaks so much I don’t like wearing them. Pity.”

“My seld , husband and family members have worn Backdoor Shoes for a number of years and find them very good. We do recommend them to any one who hasn't tried them. They are very light and comfortable and hard wearing.”

“very pleased with my purchase, wasn't expecting to find insoles for garden clogs, they are good value and quality, nice thickness and dont ruck up when taking shoe off . Will visit again when needing some more outdoor shoes. Bought additional pair for my sister who also liked them”

“Ordered by phone, arrived in two days although I was advised Royal Mail would be slow. Only concern: how to dispose of these very robust shoes when they eventually wear out. They are much better quality than other I have seen in garden centres.”
