“Had a gardener who overcharged me & insisted on me paying when my bank blocked him. Fraud squad & police are investigating WITHOUT revealing my name. He had already turned up @ my house demanding payment. Police have given me an emergency number to call if needed.”

“The tree surgeon did not use safety harness and ropes. When I enquired about further work the estimate for the amount of gravel needed was way over the top. I know how to estimate for jobs as my husband was a landscape gardener er for over 40 years and I assisted him on many projects and did all the paper work.”

“Traders who don’t turn up as promised thus wasting my time. Traders who do turn up and then go silent when asked to answer queries about the quote. If you don’t want the job then a quick text is all it takes.”

“The recommended cleaner who confirmed in writing twice an agreed date and time failed to turn up despite an 80 year old man waiting over 3 hours! To date we have received NO explanation! Does Bark not vet the people on their site???”

“The bark system works clumsily. It's not straightfoward. I someetimes get some references for cleaning and sometimes I don't and I don't know why. When I get references for cleaners, I try them out and either they are inadequate cleaners or they are untrustworthy people who steal or who don't kinow how to take responsibility for their actions.”

“Not the site itself, I guess, but the service provider who approached me was horrible. He was demanding, super pushy and was throwing me dirty words at the end when he found out he wouldn’t get the work. Site operator should be more careful about signed up service providers.”
