I was very disappointed with raj who was very quick to respond and asked me all about my requirements and I was quite impressesd at first so day time arranged but he never showed up I waited a waited eventually he rang to say running late made a time for following day but then again never turned up so I will have to look for someone else now for an urgent job !

Hi Teri, Thanks for your review. If you are a professional on the platform, all of our pricing is set based on the monetary value of the job as well as the heat of the lead. We are not a commission based system and therefore do not take a cut of any money professionals earn or repeat business they win. Our role is to provide professionals with the opportunity to convert more business. We are a cheaper alternative for smaller businesses than using PPC, Google AdWords and other forms of online marketing. As such our prices are carefully configured to take all these factors into account. Hi there, Sorry to hear you've had a negative experience using Bark.com. We are an online marketing platform that offers professionals the opportunity to market themselves - almost like a digital Yellow Pages. As such we are not an agency and cannot guarantee work for the professionals. We also do not earn commission on converted leads so that professionals can keep 100% of their earnings. Only one contractor has approached me on solar panels despite the fact that my supplied info makes it clear I want a big system and my location is close to ideal. The one who has looks good but how do I get a comparison?

Although I dident use them there was only one who contacted me he offered to come 50 miles tp cut my grass i thank him for that but pointed out it would of cost him more in travelling and work time he would not of made any money

We do already cap our leads at 5 responses, and advise professionals to respond to leads within the first hour of them being placed to give them the best chance of conversion. Website returned a few interested parties. Unfortunately the one I chose AMAC was happy to take my money though the gutter repair didn't improve my situation at all. Still leaking as before.

2 fence posts needed replacing, currently NOT happy with the work. 1 post is unstable, the other not fitted well. Whilst polite, the contractor became very pushy about payment even before the work had been done. Not likely I'll use this site again, high likelihood I'll have to get their work corrected....

I think the service you are providing is great, however, when I am required to provide my personal phone number I would like to know beforehand that i would be receiving dozens of inbound sales calls. This process is not transparent enough and I ended up with people calling and texting me from all over for over a week and even contacting me on LinkedIn to sell me . I believe that the UX needs to be more transparent if you are going to give personal contact details out, I can't be the first customer who has felt this way.

The fitness coaches would reach out way too early and quickly. It was obnoxious having them text me and call me. Would highly recommend allowing the customer to take some time and research the people first and then choosing them THEMSELVES at their OWN TIME. It came off aggressive and not appreciated.

I honestly found the process totally overwhelming and stopped responding to texts and emails. One of the big things I'm dealing with is having a stressful workload, and I couldn't manage to find time to follow up on this! Perhaps I will be back when I have more time to dedicate to follow up calls.

So disappointing. I requested five quotes and eventually got one but, to get it, I had to repeat all the information I had already submitted through this portal. Seems to be very badly organised.
