I rely can't rate Bark as I couldn't find what I was looking for. The places do not provide info unless you contact them and zi would prefer to have a general idea before I even contact them. From what I saw. None of the vendors provide what I'm looking for. But thank you for your help

The tradesman you put me in contact with was a really down to earth gentleman who not only done a great plumbing job but also does a vast amount of other trades, electrics, woodworks, plastering recommend Triple R Maintenance 100%

I had a very concerning experience using Bark.com. When submitting a request, the platform asked for my email address and phone number and stated that my contact information would be safe. However, within just a few minutes of submitting my details, I received six to seven phone calls from different contractors. This made me feel that my phone number had been widely shared, and I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. More seriously, one contractor who contacted me through Bark.com later caused significant financial loss. I paid a deposit of $12,000 for roofing work that never properly proceeded. Afterward, I discovered that the business information provided by this contractor could not be verified, and the company did not appear to be properly registered. Based on this experience, I am very concerned about the level of screening and verification of service providers on this platform. I believe Bark.com needs to significantly improve how contractors are vetted before allowing them to contact customers. Due to the privacy concerns and the risks involved, I will not be using Bark.com again, and I would caution others to proceed very carefully.

I joined Bark a few weeks ago as I needed to find local tradespeople to carry out work for me , and that is exactly what they did , and from the choices I made have been successful in finding the right people to do the work for me .

I was advised I needed 2½ hrs to clean a 2 bedroom, shower room, stairs, kitchen and living room. Lovely lady turned up and what she did was ok to start with. BUT in the 2½ hrs she only did shower room and stairs properly, gave kitchen work surfaces a quick wipe down, without clearing them, and spray mopped the kitchen and living room floors. Never entered either of the bedrooms so less than half the house cleaned. The lady was lovely and conscientious to start with, but SO SLOW! Knew I had pets, but kept saying 'too much hair', which there wasn't an excess of, and they knew before coming to the house there were 2 cats and a dog. To make matters worse they then took £10 more than quoted from my account, but to be fair sorted that immediately. So now having got them in for a reason I've got to do the most important rooms myself. Am not impressed, which is disappointing to say the least.
