My bed doesn’t look like the picture advertised and my feet hang over the end. For 500, it’s poorly made and very flimsy.

The bed frame arrived with a vital missing part. The drawer unit under the bedframe doesn’t slide properly, the drawer goes in too far, then gets stuck because it won’t slide nicely. The instructions were extremely poor and the quality of the bed is not worth the price we paid. The customer service offered me £25 refund for a bedframe that cost us £729 plus shipping £45. It took a professional joiner over 4 hours to build it and they demanded images, videos and for me to lift up the full frame to remove the drawer and take an image of the runner inside to offer me a decent refund. No concern shown for the hassle and our personal circumstances. Definitely won’t buy from them ever again. Very dissatisfied.

I purchased a king size bed and mattress, I ticked next day delivery. Later I received an e-mail telling me, due to a glitch in the system it would have to be the day after,OK I said. I received the bed and matress ,cleared the old bed which took 1 hour to dismantle, unpacked the new bed checked all the parts,only to find all the nuts, bolts, washers, slip pads Allen key and spanner were not there. I called Customer services who apologised and told me they can't deal with it till I had gone back online to fill in a form. Then they sent out a standard reply, later some 45 minutes they sent me another e-mail, they had contacted the supplier. I was told they would send the missing items by Royal Mail. 1 This point in time Royal Mail are having problems. 2 Why couldn't the complaint be dealt with over the phone and save another hour. An apology is no good when you have spent the money and your sleeping on a mattress on the floor. So future customers you have been warned !

Paid for old bed to be taken away the same time as dropping my new bed off, to be told they couldn't do it as it wasn't taken to pieces. Its a divan. Comes apart by 2 hooks at each side of base. Got told to ring bedstar for a new pick up date when I'd done this, to be told I would have to pay again for pick up and no refund from paying first time. I'd not 'taken it apart' due to my daughter going into labour where I was needed. Now I'm stuck with 2 double beds and mattresses in my bedroom.

The bed I ordered itself is fine, apart from the middle feet supporting the middle of the bed do not reach the ground. I contacted bedstar about this issue and after initial contact where they asked me to send photos I then received no more correspondence, despite me sending multiple emails. Not very pleased with the customer service

It has arrived damaged. One corner is completely knackered. The staples are out, the wood is split. Also no washers were included in with the screws for the joints that hold the bed up. Disappointed. After reading other reviews on here, there is no point in me even trying to get them to exchange it. I’m going to have to have a friend to try and fix it.

Quick service, nice bed but terrible customer service. If want to return anything they will charge £55 even if want to exchange for a different size or model. Not interested that they would of made more money on a bigger sale and not willing to budge on the charge. I’m looking to order another new bed but wont be using Bedstar ever again

Second time now I've ordered a bed, waited for a month only to call for an update and be told it is out of stock. Refund processed and customer service OK but the bed is still on the website as delivery within 14-28 days which is clearly misleading.

The mattress arrived when stated, but was told as they were bringing the mattress in that they didnt have the bedframe, as they hadn't got it from the supplier in time for delivery. I contacted bedstar who told me that an email was sent to say that it was out of stock, when I never recieved an email. I have since decided on a new frame and have emailed 3 times, but I have had no response on if they are able to deliver it or not. I have even messaged them on facebook messenger and they have read it but not responded. I understand that times are difficult at the moment, but if you read a message then you have time to reply to it at least. I have heard nothing since Monday and we have been sleeping on the mattress as we took our old bedframe down Sunday in preparation. I am really not happy with the customer service recieved!

Needed a bedframe for weekend ( Elderly relative who could not climb stairs) this was Wednesday phoned to check bed frame was available and could be delivered on Friday. Was told yes to both questions so went ahead and ordered. Come Friday no bed. Bedstar are not available at weekend so had to make alternative arrangements. Come Monday contacted Bedstar to be told that it had been with courier and could not understand why it was not delivered. Got phone number of courier and made contact. Bed did not arrive till Tuesday. Bed frame is good well priced and easy to assemble (two people) very pleased with bed frame but NOT with delivery. Suggest that if Bedstar claims next day delivery they change couriers.

Good website for finding what you want. Delivery as planned but bed base broken, wrong feet sent and no fixing kit as pictured. Rang and arranged new delivery. Bed came but no feet or fixing kit. Rang on a Friday at 3.50pm, no one there, tried chat line, no one there, had to email and wait until Monday. Took a week to post glider feet, only sent 8, bed needs 12! Rang again, no one there! Eventually got 4 more gliders and a fixing kit without instructions, had to google how to fix. Very, very poor communication. Just got my phone bill for all my calls that no one answered.... £9.30!!! Very annoyed!!

Great choice and value available, delayed delivery. Beds were ordered for my elderly parents with very limited mobility, delivery men advised not possible to assemble beds due to running late, Poor attitude. Tried to call customer services while delivery men were still at delivery address, no answer from all options on the phone.

Delivery was fast and the delivery guys took the bed and mattress straight to the bedroom for us. We bought a Giltedge Beds Flex 150 Firm 4' 6" Double Divan Bed. The frame and headboard are as expected, but the mattress is rock hard....so uncomfortable you would not believe - not like any firm mattress I've used before. Wish I'd checked the returns policy before ordering! :-(

Waited in all day on delivery day, recieved text messages saying my bed was on its way, even given a 2 Hour time Window. When no bed arrived, I called and was Make to feel like this was all my fault. The colleague on the telephone was Rude and one of the worst cases of customer service I have ever experienced, continually talking about the Terms and Conditions on the website and refusing to allow me to speak to her manager. The bed finally arrived the next day and had a piece of wood broken. So, nights with no bed, and having to sleep on the Sofa. (No care from this Lady that I am disabled) - Apparently I should not have got rid of my old bed until the new one was delivered. Finally, The new bit of wood has been delivered, and had now been built and I am happy with the quality. - When asked for a refund of the £30 delivery fee for the fact I had to end up taking two days off instead of one, I recieved an e-mail again Talking about Terms and Conditions. - So, Quality - Pretty Decent, Delivery Service - Improvement required, Customer Service - Extremely Poor! My Advice, Avoid! And buy Locally if you can, at least then you can speak to someone who won’t speak over you and continually go on about Terms and Conditions instead of listening and understanding.

I ordered 2 mattresses and it cost me around £900 so I was expecting they will make sure everything will be fine. First time panthergroup.co.uk courier came they bring just one mattress and they did not explain why they said that I need to contact bedstar.co.uk customer service. So I did. They explain that courier did not have place in van for second mattress. So instead of rearranging for delivery they just send one mattress and the thing is they knew about day before but no one bothered to inform me about this. Courier is giving 2 hours time slot but they came about half an hour later. Not big deal. When I asked bedstar.co.uk customer service to deliver it specific time next day they said that it can not be done because courier regulates time so I needed to arrange it next week because I needed to go to work next day and there was no one at home to accept delivery next day. Second week delivery guys come bring the mattress in our house but they forgot to clean they shoes or take them off while on my carpet in the house. Thank you panthergroup.co.uk for making my cleaning my carpet for your laziness. And thing is story does not end there. I ordered to recycle mattresses but when second time they came they did not pick up second one. The thing is when I contacted bedstar.co.uk customer service they said that I ordered just one mattress to recycle. But when I said system showed just one option recycle mattress and there was no other option they said I needed to call them and to arrange that two would be recycled. From where should I know how their ordering system work specially if they know the issue they did not tell on checkout and there was no one contacting me about it. So I needed to order again recycle mattress which again cost me £39 and again wait for courier to come. So it took 3 times for panthergroup.co.uk courier to come to me house to give what I wanted and ordered. Lot of confusion I would say. To add to this story I was chared £10 for mobile charges for contacting bedstar.co.uk customer service. Big mess it was. Someone just do not know how to give excellent customer service. I hope it will help for someone to make right decision.

Ordered two beds only one came no warning supposed to call with a time slot on day of delivery the delivery guy just turned up at my door one week later still waiting for other bed was supposed to come today 02/08/17 again no communication from them I had to phone them when I got through girl told me delivery people computers where down so couldn't contact me and bed would now be delivered tomorrow daughter has been sleeping on mattress on floor not happy at all another day off work waiting on delivery if it comes

The courier service is very poor. My first bed frame was only successfully delivered on the 4th attempt; you cannot plan your day you're told your 4-hr delivery slot the evening before; the queue for contacting the courier is always at least 30min long on a premium telephone number.

Your mattress was terrible, although described as firm it was far from firm and was especially soft on one side. We have sent it to a charity and bought another from Carpetright which is excellent. The Serene bed from you, however, we are very pleased with, but we will never, ever buy a rolled up mattress again. Lesson learnt!
