Bought zip and link mattresses in January which were much more firm than expected. They are totally inflexible on returns and I now have 2 mattresses worth £670 that I can’t use. I recommend you buy from a retailer that offers a sleep trial. That way you can check the mattress suits your needs and return if not.

Really disappointed with this company, I will not buy from them again. They had very poor customer service and were extremely unhelpful. I bought a Flintshire Halkyn 3-In-1 3FT Single Wooden Guest Bed which I was very happy with. I also bought the recommended mattresses to go with this. Unfortunately the mattresses are not the right size for the main bed frame. The main frame is an EU single sized frame and not suitable for a UK single sized mattresses at is leaves a gap that is not safe to sleep on (especially with children). The UK sized single mattress is suitable for the underbed only. Bedtsar and the manufacturer Fintshire believe this gap is within the acceptable tolerance and refused to take responsibility for selling the wrong sized mattress. They also didn't except the main frame is an EU sized single. I have since paid £70 to return the mattress and bought the correct sizes from Ikea, I have upgraded the quality and paid less).

I have been left extremely dissapointed with the service I have received from bedstar, would not reccomend or use again! I have given 1 star as the bed arrived within their reccomended time frame, but the item arrived damaged. Extremely poor communication, and nearly a month for bedstar to send out a replacement. Only for it to arrive damaged as well. We bought this bed for my elderly grandmother, who has waited in on multple days, for deliveries that never arrived. When the replacement item finally arrived (also damaged), it was left outside her door, meaning I had to go up there to bring the item In. Not good enough!

I few days ago I made an order for a king size bed on your facebook market place page! SCAMMED is the exact way I feel! Upon delivery I asked the delivery guy if that was everything and he assured me that yes it was indeed! Come to find out that im missing several pieces as only the headboard, the footboard, the side pannels and one wooden piece have been delivered! No way I can put a mattress on top of it, made contact with both facebook guy and delivery driver to no avail as both were useless in resolving this issue! Its two days to christmas and im being scammed for a bed,£290 of my hard working money gone! I want a full refund and you can come and collect the bed as it has no use if I cant put the mattress on top!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! They only delivered half a bed and the customer 'service' and irritable, unhelpful and inpatient. I still do not have a delivery date for the rest of the bed and have visitors sleeping on a mattress on the floor. I can't even review the bed itself yet! Why do they think an apology is acceptable? Don't bother - buy from a smaller reliable company and pay a bit more.

Whatever you do, do not use this company. I’ve been left with a mattress but not the rest of the bed! I explained my husband has arthritis but got no sympathy. So now I have no bed and bed star do not want to help! I spoke to a Gareth Parry in customer services who promised to ring back with an update. Instead he sent an email which I did not receive until after they closed. So I’ve spent £1800 on a bed that hasn’t been delivered so my husband will not be able to go to bed tonight, or in the foreseeable future!!! Thanks Bedstar, really appreciate the service! NoT!!

Two beds were delivered, both of them were provided with headboards that didn't fit. We employed a joiner to fit the headboards but was unable to do so, they also supplied some clips to connect both beds together but the clips were not of sufficient width. Bedstar were requested to employ contractors to fit the headboards, they refused stating it was not their responsibility however one of their reviews refers to them fitting the bed for a customer in their reviews. Plenty of exchanged e-mails but no satisfaction regard fitting the headboards very poor service, definitely not recommended.

I ordered a bed for which I paid in full including a charge for delivery on a date that was specified. The date arrived but only one out of two packages was delivered. I made several phone calls which received indifferent responses and eventually the second package was delivered three days later. I requested a refund of the £15.00 delivery charge on the basis that the due date had not been met but was told this was not company policy. As compensation I was offered a mattress protection cover which I don’t need. I will not use this company again.

Do NOT! And I repeat DO NOT! purchase from this company. Tina Hay customer advisor, rude, obnoxious and would not even take responsibility for their couriers incompetence on delivering the bed frame and mattress to our address. They just dint care. The driver din't even bother trying to find the address ( I be surprised if he even attempted to get to me ) Tina said that the driver couldn't find the address and my mobile was wrong! Now she want's £55.00 extra to redeliver what should be delivered to me the first place! Asked for refund and I got my refund minus the £55.00 delivery that I never got delivered. So, for your own good, do NOT get anything from them. You been warned!

Courier would not deliver bed as they had been given wrong door number by bedstar ! Now have to lose another days wages, to await redelivery whilst being without a bed. Shop elsewhere is my advice !

Typical internet provider. Deliver 2 thirds of what's been paid for. Blame someone else, don't offer any support, refuse to escalate to senior management despite us having explained the urgency. Buy local.

Delivery was awful! It said in the advertisement that it would be delivered to the bedroom - drivers didn’t want to bring it in the house. Let alone our bedroom. Assembled bed with ease. But it started dipping less than 48 hours after building. Support posts for our ottoman bed are shockingly short. And the bed slides off support beams. After trying to figure out why for almost 2 months….. the side panel of the bed even though the screws and bolts are all absolutely tighter than tight bows out this means that the support beams are rendered useless and the bed slides off. Thoroughly disappointed and will not be ordering from them again.

Poor quality beds and poor customer service. Don’t use this company. I ordered 3 beds which I needed very quickly. 1 was so much poor quality (Julian Bowen Rebecca) bed that the screws holding th frame broke and the paint came off immediately. Sent it back. One bed was fine. The third we ordered in red, colour on website was red, name of material “Ruby” but they sent purple. I called Bedstar who said they couldn’t deal with complaints on the phone, I had to email. Which I did. Customer services refused to acknowledge despite photo evidence. Charged me £55 to collect the bed, despite the fact they were picking up the other faulty bed. Just had email from them to say the courier didn’t pick up th mattress (it is a holiday let so I was not there at bed collection), now they need to pick up the mattress too. What a farce. Poor quality, poor customer service. This issue is still going on and I ordered the bed mid feb! So that’s 6 weeks of problems just because I wanted fast delivery.

Images on the website did not reflect an accurate representation of the product. Do not expect the product to be the same when delivered. Assembly guides are extremely unclear with many pieces not clearly labeled. Customer service unhelpful and offered nothing to remediate the situation other than saying "sorry".

Delivered two parts of a three part bed. Customer service was very poor. We were left without a bed for six days. Bedstar promised a mattress protector as compensation but we never received it. Although we are pleased with the bed, we won’t use them again.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! I am devastated! My little boy turned 11 yesterday and wanted a bedroom makeover for his birthday. He was so excited about getting his double bed which I planned in advance and pre-booked it to come on his birthday. I even noted in the purchase info that it was his birthday. Bedstar not only let my son down by bringing only half a bed. They strung us along all day having postponed the originally arranged morning slot. My child has had no birthday present and has been crying his eyes out! Needless to say they are now closed and unavailable to help. Terrible, terrible company!

I wouldn't trust them, My 70+ year old mother had a mattress delivered which appears to of sagged in the middle and does not offer a comfortable nights sleep. Unfortunately, their only response is to keep turning the mattress (flipping & rotating.. She's over 70!!) and to see how that goes. According to ALL other websites you should only need to 'rotate, flip' a new mattress every 3 months!!! It's sounds to me like they are fobbing her off!!! Shame on you mattress star!!!!

Wast of time I ordered a bed and was informed it would be delivered 3 days later, it never happened It’s now a week gone and I’ve had a delivery of 4 lengths of polished steel This company is a joke, use them at you Peril

I previously wrote a review about our daughters bed and the delivery company taking away the base. Bedstar have concluded the investigation and still say the base was not taken. I find it very frustrating now that a review on another website, from a different customer, is for broken drawers on a base, exactly the same as my daughter had, and this customer received it after it was taken away from my daughter. Bedstar say as a goodwill gesture we can pay half of the cost if we want a new base...... I think not!!? We will leave it with Trading standards now!! *I will amend/write a new review as and when things progress
